Way of the Samurai 3 Set for Xbox 360
When the clocks turned 2009 over in Japan, the servers that host Spike’s official website unlocked a New Years video greeting from producers Kazuhiro Watanabe and Yoshinori Terasawa. There was a big surprise in this video: an Xbox 360 version of Way of the Samurai 3.
The 360 version of the PS3 semi-hit will be released to Japan on February 26, carrying a price of 7,700 yen. Specifics have yet to be detailed, but it appears that 360 owners can look forward to additional content over the original.
For a first look at the 360 version see the New Years video message. Most of the video is about a make-a-commercial contest for the Way of the Samurai series, but the in-game footage that appears about a third of the way through is from the 360 version, as indicated by the button icons.
As with the PS3 version, the 360 version is Japan-only at the moment.
