PlanetXbox looks to Gotham

PlanetXbox.com has posted a first look of Bizarre Creation’s upcoming racing title, Project Gotham Racing, for the Xbox video game console from Microsoft. For more information about the title and screenshots be sure to check out the first look right here.
Another oft-voiced complaint from MSR was the difficulty of the Kudos system. Style was far more heavily weighted than technical perfection, and the penalties for running into various objects piled up quickly enough to make driving for style almost not worth it. To add insult to injury, re-racing a previous challenge meant losing all the Kudos one had already piled up, making it entirely possible to go from 120 kudos on a race to -15 kudos. While more experienced drivers had few problems advancing through the chapters, for others, the game proved more frustrating than enjoyable. Bizarre Creations has, it seems, listened to those complaints, and will be refining the kudos process to put technical elements on more of an even keel with style, making progression through the game more accessible to the audience as a whole.
