Fight Night Round 4 Getting New DLC, Demo
Along with the free update to the game’s controls, Fight Night Round 4 fans have some additional DLC to look forward to this month. EA announced that they’ll be offering a downloadable boxer pack for their pugilism sim, adding boxers like Oscar De La Hoya, Vitali Klitschko, and Wladimir Klitschko to the game, as well as alternate versions of James Toney and George Foreman. It’ll cost you $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points, depending on your platform of choice.
EA will also be issuing a brand new demo of Fight Night Round 4, showcasing the new face-button control options they’ll be enabling at the end of August. The demo -- planned for early September on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store -- will pit Muhammed Ali against Mike Tyson for a full 12 rounds of fantasy fisticuffs.
Will new controls, DLC, and a fresh demo be enough to reinvigorate Fight Night’s sales? Or have you and your wallet moved on from EA’s boxing game -- perhaps to the ridiculously well-received UFC Undisputed?
