Lost Planet 2 Co-Op Demo Coming to XBL Next Week
The 4-player Lost Planet 2 demo that had people at E3 buzzing will finally be coming to the community at large next week. A post on the Capcom Unity blog explains that the demo is coming on Wednesday, August 19 for Xbox Live Gold members, to coincide with the first day of Gamescom in Germany. Silver members will have to wait until August 26. The demo lets you use teammates to beat a Salamander boss and experiment with some new weapons and equipment, and it all focuses on teamwork.
This is the demo promised when Jun Takeuchi said we’d be getting one "soon, I guess." Of course, that statement was made almost two months ago, so the concept of "soon" is all relative. If you want to see our take on the demo before you can check it out yourself, read up on our E3 preview.
