Reasons Why The Xbox Sucks
A fanboys list of why the xbox sucks:
#1: It has a hard drive.When something has a hard drive, you have to be careful with it since it breaks easily. So that means if the console falls down, thats the end of it.
#2: I has a Pentium 3 Processor: Having a Pentium 3 inside a gaming console is a bad thing to do. Since it has a fast processor, you can only play for only about a hour and after that, the system will overheat.
#3: It has 64 MB of Memory:When you are playing games do you need that much memory? NO. A average game only needs about 32 MB of memory. What that means is that all that memory is just there to help the electric company earn more money because memory consumes a whole lot of energy.
#4: Most of the hard drive is used as a buffer:What that means is that most of the hard drive will be used to temporaily save the game disc's info so you actually play from the hard drive, not the disc. What that means is that almost 7.999 Gigabytes out of the 8 Gigabyte hard drive will be used to temporialy save data, giving you only .0001 Gigabytes to save info (which is just 1.2 Megabytes, less than a Playstation 2 memory card).
#5: There taking the same route Nintendo did with Nintendo 64:Just having good tech specks dosen't mean they have good games. While Playstation 2 has good games like Final Fantasy X, Smugglers Run 2 planning to come out, XBox only has corny games like Battlefield 1942, Black and White, Jurassic Park, and The Thing (now that's a really corny name for a game) coming out.
#6: You have to buy a DVD kit just to play DVD movies:Unlike Playstation 2 or the Matsu****a (Panasonic) version of GameCube, you have to buy a DVD kit which costs almost the same as a game.
#7: You must have either XNet or MSN to play games online:If you have AOL, Earthlink, NetZero or any other than XNet or MSN, you must subscribe to either one of those before you can play online.
#8: THE WHOLE THING WEIGHS ALMOST 15 POUNDS!!!:Considering that the hard drive, and the casing together is almost 14 pounds (what, the casing has steel inside of the plastic), you might as well be in a gym working out.
#9: The controller is twice as big as the Dreamcast controller:If you thought the Dreamcast's start button was hard to push without moing it from the handles, think about having twice the difference from it.
#10: The popularity is low. In a recent survey by GameSpot, 77% of the people said they aren't going to buy a XBox, 10% said maybe, and only 13% said yes.

11: Unlike PS2, you can't add on any external I/O devices (ZIP, external modchip...) thus, you can't add on coponents by plugging in it, you have to open the case (which VOIDS you warranty) and solder it on to the board.
12. You could only put in horizontally, unlike PS2, it would not work if it was placed horizontally.
13. The system is almost like a computer. If you have read the specs, it said that it would have a video card that was designed for a computer as well as other stuff.
14. Only ***gets are going to buy this system. A recent poll that I conducted at my school showed that only rejects (A.K.A. ***gets, fobs) were going to buy this system. I also found out that the Cool kids got PS2.
15. The system has plenty of DVD glitches. For example, some of them include stopping in the middle of a movie, pausing unexpectedly, playing in slow-mo when it should be playing at regular speed, broadcasting MACROVISION (the thing that makes movies uncopyable) Copy Protection when it is not even hooked up to a VCR or any other device that has AGC.

Some statement in here are false. The webmaster made them false so that a consumer will not buy XBOX, thus, increasing the sales of Playstation 2.
