I need your help with a faceplate I've been trying to get for the last few months:



The seller doesn't use paypal and sent the following answer to my inquiry about US shipping:

"Thank you for your interests on this GoW 2 Faceplate with 2 skinz. I am the only one who offers this faceplate wordlwide. I would send this faceplate into the USA. I don´t accept Paypal but you can tranfer the money onto my bank account in Regensburg (I have BIC and IBAN Nr.) thank you for your questions and much greetings from Bavaria !

My question is:
1. How does a guy end up being the only distributor of a GOW2 faceplate worldwide?
2. Has anyone is the US used this bank transfer process to pay for auctions. This seems to be very common with German auctions.
3. Any German collectors willing to buy this for me who accept paypal?

My last efforts to secure plates through proxy didn't turn out so well. Elite Customs has a half-dozen of my plates that I can't seem to get here. I don't think he's trying to do anything funny. We just finally get ahold of each other and before I can get an answer how much I owe him for shipping, he's gone again.

My artist friend from Germany could probably help. He has PayPal. You'd have to PayPal him enough to cover and fees and he could do a bank transfer to the guy. If you can settle on a price with the guy and get the auction closed, I can contact Christoph and give you his PayPal info.

I've seen that faceplate at gamestop. I'll look for it next time and I think he meant he's the only ebay seller who offers to ship the faceplate worldwide or something.

seems suspicious almost like he would have people he knows sniping for him to make people who lose it but want it with a burning flame (lol) put in crazy bids after its over to the seller...but who knows

hello i'm the one who is seling the 2 faceplates. i only put watch out for ebay snipers because one time i listed a limited edition xbox 360 and someone sniped it at the last mintue and i got multiple emails from people saying they would have paid more for the console but didn't bid at the last second. sorry for the confusion =)
