Help with NASCAR Thunder 2002

I am reading that to unlock certain tracks I must do the "Short Track Challenge" or the "Superspeedway Shootout," yet I don't see those options listed. How do I do those kind of things???

I have that game and no such thing exists as far as i can see, and i play the game alot.
