Another bad X BOX

My X BOX is broken. Again. This is the 2nd time this has happened too. My x box wont read any games, movies or music cd's. This happened to me 2 months ago, same problem, and I took it back to the store, and got a new one. Do you think i can do the same thing again? And oh yeah, i was dumb and didn't buy the two year warranty. So what should I do? Am i screwed?

Did you have to pay $300 for a new one last time or did the store cover it? If they covered the cost last time they will probably cover it again. Also, are you sure that it is not your games or CDs that are defective? I would go back to the store and tell them whats wrong. Hopefully they will replace it. Oh, yea, this time, buy the waranty!!!!

yea i bought the extended warranty....i had a controller that had a button sticking problem....just brought it in and got a new one on the spot....so basically i got not only a full on spot replacement for my xbox....but any of the 4 first party controllers i have as well...i think for like 2-3 years!!!!

Is it me or does it seems that either someone's x-box works perfectly for them... or they go through them like underwear? (assuming you change underwear daily...) Maybe you are overheating it or its getting dusty or something...

I get what ya mean Kraft.. it must really suck if your xbox kept breaking.. Im lucky coz i havent had any problems at all..
