June Offical Xbox Magazine Demo Disc

Anybody else having problems with the June Disc.

All I get is a msg saying it cant reconize the disc. This is my second one. My friend also has the same problem.

hmmm. well plenty of others it seems have the same problem. I took a peak at the OXM forum. Lots of action on this topic their. Problem seems to be wide spread accross the both Canada and the US.

The video would stutter in some parts, but that's all.

Mine works but it takes a helllllllllllll of a time to load up........ may have to clean the disc.......... it usally works after i cleaned profesionaly.

Same with mine. It works but it has long loading times.

Also does anyone know where this 2nd Halo ending is in the disc?

Mine works fine. Maybe the folks posting in the OXM forum are ps2/gamecube trolls trying to make an almost non-existant problem seem worse. Peace.

NO thats not true. I have comfirmed with 3 friends they have the same problem. It looks like a bad run of cds occured.. Results vary with region.

Yeah I have problems Rallisport Challenge freezes half of the time I gave up on it. Oh well you can't win em all. That's the only one I have trouble with. Late

yeah i had that problem the first time i tried it, but then it worked. That used to happen with the demo disc's for Dreamcast...but it happens with real games sometimes too..makes me mad..but happens only once in awhile

hmm from what I seenposted elsewhere it looks like alot of Canadians got bad Disc. I've asked OXM to send me a new one. So far no word from them.

My disc did not work either. But I rinsed it under hot water for about 30 seconds. Then dried it off and it tried it in my box again. It works now. Give it a try you have nothing to lose.

My last disk worked, but I did have trouble with the Rallisport disc, cause most of the time the game won't even load on certain tracks. It shows some message about a broken disc or something.

Thats all I get. This Disc is not a DVD or is not supported. I have had 3 differnet discs now. I just hope the guys at OXM send me a new one.

Yeah, mine takes awhile to load. Sometimes it just freezes. But I still can play the demos and see features. Most importantly, I got the new costumes.

Lucky U: I spent hours cleaning the disc. power on power off ...NO luck. All my buddies have the same problem.. We got a bad batch up here.

I have not run into a single problem with any OXM discs. Now ODCM is another story, a full half of the discs that came with the mag didn't work. The second disc they sent me always worked??

Anyway sucks about the OXM disc. This last one, with the doa outfits, is AWESOME. It's a 'must-have' demo disc!
