    Just wondering who you guys think is the best game designer between Yu Suzuki and Myamoto?

    Myamota. Ya, I played Shenmue and that is my favorite game of all time. But Myamota made all those Marios, and Zeldas which were the some of the greatest games of all time. He also made Metriod which is sweet. They are both good but Myomato has made many great games.

    although i dont like the Gamecube...........i have to admit, Shigeru Miyamoto was.........IS a videogame master mind, best ever

    Actually, he did not do Zelda and he DEFINATELY had absolutely NOTHING to do with Metroid. All he has to his credit is the original Donkey Kong (Rareware did Donkey Kong Country) and the Mario games. Period. A highly overated programmer IMHO.

    Warren Spector of course,

    System Shock I & II, Thief I & II, He also did some work on the Ultima Underworld series when he worked for Looking Glass, He headed up Ion Storms Austen division and created the awsome Deus Ex and in the works Deus Ex II & Thief III.
