Default Serious Sam new screens and info. 56k warning

While Xboxes current line-up of FPSs isn’t the largest, most already know that this is only a temporary problem. One of the more highly anticipated first-person shooters coming out this year for Xbox is Serious Sam and this morning is started off with ten breathtaking shots of the game. Serious Sam is being published by Take-Two Interactive’s newly formed Gotham Games label when released this Fall on Xbox. To check out all the latest screenshots simply. What's better than Serious Sam for the PC? Well some would have you believe that its Serious Sam for the Xbox. Obviously the jury's still out (or being chased in wide open spaces by kamikaze alien creatures whose hobbies include screaming and exploding), but these ten shots might sway you one way or the other. Have a look and judge for yourself. The Xbox version of Croteam's magnificent first-person shooter will hit the street under the Gotham Games label this Fall

My thoughts: I think the game is fun or it was on pc. I think the graphics look ass-tastic but that does not make a game fun, play does. I think this game will have a lot of Competition and might find it hard to compete. My Q's : What do you think of the game? And is it linkable?

I liked the game for its online co op play. I hope they don't omit that on the Xbox version. It's almost a requirement.

The PC version was $20 when it was first released, if they charge full price for the xbox version it will be a major rip off. All those shots are from Serious Sam: The First Encounter, if they package both The First Encounter and The Second Encounter then it would be worth full price, but if it is just the first one, then it will be a major rip off.

If they include the seriously warped deathmatch game types from The Second Encounter, then the multiplayer is cool, if not its vanilla. The big pull of the multiplayer in Serious Sam is the co-op play, which is absolutely amazing.

.....doesn't this game seem super colorful! Not that I hate color, I just rather play with more drab looking colors when I am killing stuff!

It is bright and colorful on purpose. Croteam (The devs of SS) wanted to make something that was bright and energetic, instead of the usually drab brown and greys you see in most other 3d shooters. It really works for Serious Sam, which is entirely different from any 3dshooter you have played before. Its INSANELY fast paced, and instead of focusing on fighting a handful of enemies you fight (literally) hundreds of enemies at once. Its absolutely crazy and tons of fun.

The thing that made me like this game is that it was straight forward, and kind of off the cuff fun. Anyway ya I hope they throw it all together 1 & 2. And I hope it has link and/or net ability.

well, i have never played this game and i can see why it is rated "M", but its probably gonna be 50 bucks on the 'box without a second encounter packed with it. i can get it for 10 bucks, so why pay 50 for it?? that's the thing with console gaming. the games are sooo f*cking expensive. PC games go down in price within 3 months of release. (sometimes. The Sims, anyone??? Max Payne is only 30 bucks and the xbox version is 50.) PC always have to upgraded tho.. DAMN, YA JUST CAN'T WIN CAN YA???
