How much is the xbox gonna cost with tax cause i'm just curious so i'll have a good idea of how much more money to bring then the 300 i'm already planning paying to pay for the xbox

XBoxDude...just because you are a faithful XBox gamer, I took the necessary time to help you out with a figure. Your XBox will cost somewhere in the range of: $318.74 and $326.99...depending on where in Illinois you decide to pick up your XBox. If you are closer to Chicago, it will be more since the Sales Tax Rate is at 9%. In the suburbs (or outside the Chicago city limits), it is 6.25% tax.

To get those numbers, I simply took $299.99 (the cost of the XBox) and multiplied it by 6.25% (to put in multiplication form, you have to move the decimal over two spaces to the left, therefore, the number is .0625) and I took that answer and added $299.99. I did the same with the 9% tax, too.
