Hey anthony, word has it that the pre order they are doing right now at ebgames.com is NOT for the 15th. Its for a later shipment. I could be wrong but i think i read that somewhere.

I just pre-ordered mine the other day at Sam's club. Of course you need to have a membership, but I think most people at least know someone who has a membership. You even get a discount, and it says they will ship on the 15th. $419, for the system, extra controller, and two games (Halo, Amped, or NFL Fever)

Hey man were did u go at Sam's Club iv been looking all day and i havent seen anything. i tried electronics but that didnt work. then i went to video games and the only thing there for xbox was the games. pleasse help.Ya at edgames.com it sells the 19th but i guess if i have to do that then at least ill get one.help

Pre ordering is far better because it assures you a copy of the Xbox when it is released. If you wait in a line, you might not get one, because 1. They might sell out from the people in front of you and 2. They might already have all of their Xbox's sold in pre-orders.

I can't really answer this poll cos I have pre-ordered the Xbox but will also camp out to get mine first......

I'd rather stake out. This way, it's a gaurantee to get your XBox and walk out the door with it. I've done the pre-order thing before...in the past, I have seen that if you are a moment too late to pick up your XBox, they will hand it over to another person and they could possibly run out...They won't hold onto them forever...So, make sure you pick it up the very second you can! Knowing everyone in here, this post is hardly needed...lol...everyone will be there to pick their pre-orders up...

But, if you are getting them because you bought one on-line, make sure that the order is going to be shipped in time so you will receive it on the 15th. I hope everyone here gets their XBoxes the very day! That would be bad ass!!!
