project ego to be called Fable?

i just read a thread at another forum that has project ego being called Fable

Sorry man, just kidding around with you some. It has been referred to as Fable for quite sometime now. First reference I remember was back in April I think.

I have to agree with you there. Personally, I think Fable is a weak name for it.

i dont spend all my time reading about games that dont come out for another year,
i saw it today, and posted it...

why? because this is a MESSAGE BOARD

maybe there is a thousand other people who knew about it 5 months ago, but i am willing to bet that there were just as many who didnt.

Yes, this is old news but give the guy a break.

Heres what i found out a while ago.

When you go to xbox.com you see their games section...When you click on a game it brings you to xbox.com/gametitle

ex:

xbox.com/halo

well i went to xbox.com/fable and look what it says...

No CMS Default Posting found.

That means that SOMETHING about Fable is on their site. just like xbox.com/halo2 has that same error, but remember the halo 2 trailer? it was something like xbox.com/halo2/halo2trailer.htm

btw my buddy from xboxxtreme got a brochure and it had "Fable" on the Xbox Live games list from the e3 packet thing

IMO Project Ego is a better name for it then Fable....
Only because I've come quite attached to calling it Ego....
