5.1 ?

I have a kick ass surround set up but an old 36" tv. is there anyway to truly get 5.1 with the xbox ? I dont think it has optic

If you get the Advanced A/V pack, High-Definition A/V pack, or the Monster 400 series XBox cables, then, they all include inputs on them for fiber optic audio.

I could hook my Xbox to a 5.1 channel speaker set, but I don't want to put my Xbox in the basement. I like it in my bedroom, since I'm too lazy to go down the stairs.

My Xbox has an optical digital output. Gaming in 5.1 is the ONLY way to go!
