XP, a pox on thee!!!

does any one have windozeXP, I do! arrg its horrible!!

for starters.. my dusty Voodo3 doesn't work right because the driver for 9X don't work, I got the NT ones on but they are really messed up! I gots 1.5 gihrz and its slow, it takes like 40 seconds to open the sound menu,

AHH!

and just as I was typing XP thought it needed to post the un finished message , but any way..

and about 50 for my Internet!

Same here, have it on three computers. Love it. It is XP that is running my home theatre.

I Build PC's & I Find Its A Great OS For Average Users, Not Gamers. It Is Not Optomised for games. Lot's Of Texture Tearing In FPS Games Are a Common Sight. Even With V-Sync Torned on, No Diff! I Say Wate For a Bit Until They Update/Patch It Up. Also Make Sure All Your System drivers are XP! VIA Chipset People Beware as well.... XP Doesnt Like VIA!

I have XP and am enjoying it. About that XP being bad for games though....I play a number of games and XP works very well with all of them. So either im got getting that tearing effect of which you just described or its so minimal that im just not noticing.

I went from Windows 2000 to XP. Games seem to run better under XP than they did in 2000 (for me).

I have XP at home and I love it so much, that my wife and I might get a divorce...It's best not to go into detail..........just kidding

But seriously, great OS...at work I use NT but am looking to upgrade relatively soon
