Default Cambridge DTT3500 5.1 Speaker Rig

Just got my XBOX and now I want some quality sound. Has anyone hooked up these speakers to an XBOX before? Is it possible? I would like to get the ProMedia's, but they are $399 as opposed to $230 for the DTT3500's. Any help would be appreciated.

What brand carries that alphabet soup that you provided? That could help me out a little better...

    Default whoops

Thanks for the reply. The company that makes the speakers are Cambridge Soundworks. I think they are now owned by Soundblaster. The reason I am thinking about these is that it would be nice to buy a 5.1 rig that I can hook up to my PC and XBOX without spending $400. Thanks again.

As long as it has an optical input, theres no reason it wouldnt work.

Default hope you didn't buy yet

ok here's the thing... i had a dtt2500... the weaker version of blaster... it's hooked up to computer...

i decided to hook it up to xbox...
    severely underpowered...
unless the room is tiny... the setup is too weak for xbox and tv...

i bought an rca home theatre package... 350 watts total power for only $350 CDN... like $225 USD...
the system works well with vcr, dvd, cd player, tape, tv. you can even have 2 game systems hooked up to it.
it's amazing. the power is great for a medium sized room...

do not buy speakers meant for computers... usually they only hook up to 1 device..
