Im not maximus....but anyway it comes with the cables, you just need component inputs on your TV... if you want to use optical sound, you will need an optical (toslink) cable and your receiver needs to have optical input.

If you purchase the "Advanced A/V Pack", all your TV needs is an S-Video input in the back and two other inputs (one will be white, and the other will be red). The "S-Video" input will be round and flush with the TV...it should have about 5 holes so the cable will fit in properly...and cable has a five pin connector. It's simple but make sure you have an S-Video input on your TV before you buy it...otherwise, there is no use.

If all else fails, your Composite cables that come with the XBox should work fine (they are the white, yellow, and red cables). Hope that helps
