Halo 2 Early Release or Not

I thought it would be fun to take a little poll to see who believes the rumor and who doesn't.

If you follow up your vote with a comment inticating which way you voted. I will keep a record and then we can see who was was right and who wasn't.

I think the rumor is true and we well be playing Halo 2 online before Christmas.

I would never believe with so much money on the line a company would release a product with out anybody being aware. It's too risky. I'm not saying it wouldnt work out for them, it's just that they'll most likely stick to the proven formula and play it safe.

I would agree with you if it was a brand new game, but with something like halo 2, people arent looking for advertising, there is already enough hype for it as it is. all they need to do is say "ok, you can now buy halo 2" and every game store in the country looks like the day before christmas

P.S. I hope this turns out true, but like most, im not counting on it

In fact this is the only time Id like ever hope to be completely wrong...I hope that it comes out so so much...But will it I have to doubt that it will.

But yeah SketchFactor could just be trying to conceal it. I mean look at how much hype the rumors have caused...Why wouldnt they want to start a rumor about a secret release..I mean the rumor has everyone talking...

Although I, like pretty much every other Xbox owner, wish that Halo 2 would be released before Christmas of '03, I highly doubt it will be.

I dont think it is coming in 2003 , but I would rather think it was coming in 2004 and then be surprised when it comes out early, than thinking it is coming out this year and then it doesnt.

There is a 90% chance that Halo 2 will be released in 2004. You people should start posting these threads about Halo 2's release date, because it's really getting too frequent. On the other hand, some Bungie game developers may be trustworthy while others may not.

I really want to believe this rumor but I think not. Did they really plan this way before E3 to claim that they can't fit all the features in before Christmas. I think amybe the big 11/15 day is just a revelation of a new Xbox Live bundle and maybe awesome new features for Live. I mean who wouldn't like to start seeing 32 player multiplayer on Live and server-to-user instead of peer-to-peer? I hope it's real but it feels too iffy.
