Ninja Gaiden demo coming out soon.

At Microsoft's Xbox Live Xmas Party event held last weekend in Japan, Tecmo producer Tomonobu Itagaki shed new light on his long awaited action game "Ninja Gaiden." Scheduled for release on February 26, Itagaki-san revealed that the game is currently 80-90% complete. Speaking at the event, he revealed that half of the planned 16 stages in the game are finished. The levels still in development require mostly graphical tweaks and minor changes to improve the overall quality of the game. Furthermore, Itagaki-san confirmed plans to release a one level demo disc featuring Ninja Gaiden in America. Tecmo reportedly plans to ship 500-600,000 Ninja Gaiden demo discs for Xbox in the coming weeks.

That's good news for Ninja fans, not only because they'll get a taste of the game, but MOST IMPORTANTLY becuase dev's rarely release demos for games unless they're fairly confident that it will be well received. So the probablilty that Ninja will suck just went down.

Sweetness. I think demos give a good insight into most games, except for the Deus Ex demo. I will really look forward to this demo. Good news!!!

I can't wait to get my hands on this. Hopefully the distribution of the disc is in a fashion I am able to do so. Here is hoping for an EB or OXM giveaway
