Optic Cable in Splinter Cell

Hwo do you use the optic cable in splinter cell? I tried to use it when I was inside a closet but pressed every button and nothing. When I got close to the door all it said ws interact(open) door.

Any suggestions?

You can't use the F.O. in closets, only on doors that lead to another room, but it's a great tool for seeing what's there before you open the door! Just arm and shoot like a weapon and pan left/right to get a unique view of the happenings on the other side of the door! Good Luck!

Man I would so love to have one of those to mess around with in real life.. Although there will probably never be a time I will REALLY need it.. It could make for some good sight seeing..
