You can now finally have the dashboard display in 480p with the new Live update. To activate you must press both triggers and click both thumbsticks.

It still amazes me that it took MS this long to enable this, in a lot of cases, must have feature. For those that don't know, quite a few HDTV's don't support 480i in their HD inputs, or at least not in all of them. Depending on how you have your entertainment center set up, this could be a major annoyance and renders the dashboard and all features contained within useless unless you changed the connections on the back of your tv to an input that supports 480i.

No it will not work. It is only for those with an EDTV or HDTV and the xbox connected via component cables.

By the sound of it, yes. I'll be getting XBL again very soon...I can't wait to check this out on my HDTV
