Does anyone know when the new xbox mag is coming?

OXM is usually release at the end of the month... so for example, I recieved my February issue at the end of December, and so I assume I will be recieving my March issue at the end of January. (The cycle seems to skip one month, like most magazines)

I will be looking foward to the next OXM, so I finally get to try out Wreckless That game is looking killer.

I bought my OXM 2 weeks ago. They have LOTR on the front page and a fully packed demo DVD inside. Great magazine by the way. Love it.

Yeah, single mags aren't cheap but subscription is quite reasonable.

I think the $8.99 at the newsstand is just plain stupid. It is almost $10 with tax and for that price you could buy 2 games for 10 months of the newsstand price, but if you subscribed, it would take 4 YEARS of the subscription price to buy those same 2 games...thats 38 more months you get for free basically...that is just really stupid the newsstand price is so pointlessly inflated. Of course there is a point, us people who arent sure of the mag are paying to buy a few issues at amlost $10 each to see what the mag is like...

The last magazine I had a subscription to was the official Sega magazine. Since then I am kind of weary of "Official" magazines. Maybe I'll look in the couch and scrounge up a couple of dollars so I can buy an issue, otherwise I'll just do what I normally do and look through it at the magazine store. I'm a cheap-skate when it comes to some things.

Well, a few weeks ago, I went to GameStop and was going to get it and it came out to $9 and some change. So the guy offered me the 10% discount card and a 10 month sub to Game Informer along with the OXM for just $10. When I got home, I filled out the subscription card and sent it off. I don't know if you guys have checked this deal out but on the back of the card, it says it's offered at Game Stop, FuncoLand, Babbage's, Software ETC & Planet X.

good stuff in it. I gotta get a subcription though, paying $8.99 an issue is insane. Subcription cuts it by more than half.

robnyack, the Mag with the Lord of the Rings on the cover is last months issue #3. If you have a subscibtion you should be getting issue #4 soon.
If I remember correctly, I have gotten the other issues about this time of the month....

gee, I been looking for that "new" issue for 3 weeks. I just found it for the first time last weekend. I thought it was the latest!!

I think I have had issue #3 for at least 2-3 weeks...

I think the sub is def worth it. $25.00 a year vs. what $9 bucks off the stand.... 25.00 vs. $108/year. Wow.

I enjoy the mag, it is starting to get better. Hell they have only put out 3 issues so far.

I heard that on the new demo disc that it includes a movie of Brute Force. Is this true? If so, I need to buy that magazine since I don't have a subscription. Brute Force is my most anticipated game coming out!

What month is the newest mag? Not by subscription, but in the "newsstands"? I would assume january? The last one I saw at EB was December, with Christe from DOA3 on the cover...

but I sent out my subscription thingey yesterday, so what issue would I be getting first? Feb?
