Default Blinx 2 Likely to Appear at E3 2004

The latest issue of Famitsu Xbox magazine features an exclusive on Blinx 2 - a sequel to one of the most frustrating games ever. In our opinion, anyway.

Artoon are doing the development honours again, and Xbox Live play has been mentioned. Quite how that'll work is a mystery to us. Blinx will be able to dress up like an enemy this time round, and by the sound of things it'll be more puzzle orientated. Expect a full blown announcement at E3.

Hopefully this time, they work out some of the major problems with the original. Because right now the best platformer xbox has to offer is Voodoo Vince

Wasn't there going to be a new XBox platform game at E3 too and not just this Blinx junk?
    Cook County Sucks!
"It is not an implausible assumption that all of the anti-American, anti-Semitic, socialist and communist dictators of the world would prefer a Kerry presidency, as President Bush has shown a willingness and determination to remove their like from power. John Kerry has vowed not to take any action without United Nations approval. Considering that much of the leadership was being bribed by Saddam Hussein, one should not expect Kerry to be a force for freedom in the world."

And Voodoo Vince is a good platformer as well. I will have my eye on Blinx 2, but they have a few things to address before I pick it up once it gets released.

The most loved cat in the history of games (yes folks, even more than Bubsy), will be returning as per yesterday's story, but now with online eight-player Vs. gameplay and two-player co-op confirmed, thanks to Japanese publication Famitsu.

Players are promised unbridled joy, with the new ability, nay gift of controlling a squad of cats and facing them off against pigs; a stunning addition to say the least.

The pigs in questions are of the same YMCA-inspired variety from the original - remember those leather clad sows from the unlockable gallery images? That's them. They can produce warp holes which will no doubt work wonderfully against the Blinx crew's time sweeping abilities in the heat of battle.

Pigs. Cats. Warp-holes. If that wasn't enough, you'll be able to make your own logos and emblems and change the clothes of your characters. Lord help us. Too. Much. Innovation. To. Take. In.

Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space will be at E3, no doubt stealing the limelight from the likes of Halo 2 and Half-Life 2. Bungie and Valve will definitely have their work cut out this year no doubt.

Found this earlier, Now at least we know what the Xbox Live feature will be in the game, but I wonder if the two player co-op will be Live enabled or not.
