    Question too many games?!?!?!

hey i was wondering if my fellow buddies at XBA are having the same dilemma as i a, is it just me or are there 2 many games comin out in the next 6 months that it will break ur bank and u may not hav enough time to enjoy them all? i mean im not trying to say that these games shouldnt come out but i guess im kind of bragging of how we hav so many good games coming out...(hehehe stupid ps2'ers and cubers)

Yeah I know, my income definately limits how many new games I get, or at least the frequency of when I get games.

You may have to wait until they become used, or reconsider what games you are going to get. Also, it's so much cheaper to rent games and find out which ones are worth buying. I know I've gone out and bought some bad games before. Games I was excited for and they sucked in the end.

I found that when I scaled it down and thought about if needed it. That I had a nice compact but action-packed list. Also nicely spaced out (release dates wise).

For instance, there's no point in buying Fifa 05 because I have 03. Of course it's different with games like Halo & Half-Life 2 but those are mere essentials that everyone is expected to buy.

I narrowed my massive list down to less than 10. Which I can afford. Normaly I would get double that but gotta start saving for my Nintendo DS, that'll be out by the end of the year in America and I'll be importing assuming it's multi-regional.

But anyway, yes, we are spoilt for choice

I'm getting a car and license this summer so all kinda expenses are about to slam onto my wallet. I doubt I'll get all the games on my "Must Buy" list... much less my "Possible" list at the time I would like to get them.

    *Must Buy*
    Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow (8/3/04) $39.99
    ESPN NFL 2K5 (8/24/04) $19.99
    Doom 3 (10/4/04)
    ESPN NBA 2005 (10/19/04)
    Halo 2 (11/9/04)

    *Possible*
    NCAA Football 2005 (7/14/04) $49.99
    Fable (9/13/04)
    Star Wars: Battlefront (9/20/04)
    Burnout 3: Takedown (10/4/04)
    Brothers In Arms (10/4/04)
    Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2 (11/1/04)
Call of Duty: Finest Hour (11/2/04)
    Battlefield: Modern Combat (11/9/04)
    GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (11/15/04)
    Conker: Live and Reloaded (12/7/04)
    Jade Empire (12/7/04)

Geez that list is unbelievable. I wish some of these would go ahead and come out this summer so I can play em before school starts.

Yes. There are to many great games coming out. But I don't see this as a problem at all. NCAA2005, ESPN 2k5, BF:MC. Great times ahead.

Some people like me have all three consoles also.. It's tough, so I just rent as much as possible.. Half the time I beat the game in a week and end up happy I didnt spend $50 on it anyway.

I find it hard to believe you are going to get as many games as you say you are. Either you've made a sizeable fortune for yourself or your parents just flat out spoil you.
