its actually the dvd drives there talkin about not the hard drive, im surprised MS hasnt admit that the thomson drives were faulty and should have replaced them for free, but i guess there too greedy.
You will find tons of people on this forum who have had there thomson drive crap out on them.
Oh yeah, that's right. I'm tired and about to do iventory for work. I am on my second Xbox because my first has a thompson that crapped out.Originally Posted by Yankeez-XBA

I'm on my second too. Finally, someone is sueing there asses over it!
suing for what?? the 300 dollars? Thats all they are gonna get.. My thompson drive sometimes trips when i start it up. But there is a simple remedy to that... Just goto wal-mart buy a new one, then swap them, and get your money back. Like my espn b-ball game game takes a couple of tries to get it runnin, but thats the only game that gives me fits, if halo 2 is like that, then my xbox will go back.
If he wins the suit, I want my $300 from the deal!!!
They admited that some of the drives from launch xboxs were faulty and fixed them for free, I can say that from personal experience. If they didn't fix mine for free I wouldn't have a xbox, so your not gonna here any agruing about MS from me.Originally Posted by Yankeez-XBA
Mine didn't crap out. I love MS. Sorry beatches.
I had a launch xbox thats drive crapped out and they offered to fix mine too, but instead of free they wanted to charge me $150...Originally Posted by OuFtb
yep they fixed mine for free, even paid for all the shipping.. law suit over.
I used to post here a lot.
Also was told to pay $150 dollars. Instead traded it to EB as used and paid the $80 to get a new one.
