Alright, this needs to be bumped, as this is getting ludicrus. EA is giving itself a bad public image. If this keeps up, I will not buy another EA game. Before now, it's been like" yeah, yeah, they're bad, but... burnooooooutttttt threeeeeeeeeeee, battlefieeeeeeeeld, oddworllllllllllllllllld", but it's almost out of control. One or two more of these, and I'll join the boycot myself.

But the difference between this and Microsoft is that none of us really cared about those small computer businesses that got bought out We just care about the games that the smaller game companies were producing.

Someone said it best when they said EA can give us crap now and what choice do we have? Every new system that has ever cam out on market had a quality football game to boost it's sales. Remember what PS2 started out with right? Now the next gen systems will have a football game and it will only be Madden. I like choice, I don't like to feel cornered. I will not buy Madden again.

ubisoft was not a small game company. Thanks to the box, it really got its name out there as a major player in the game industry. before, they made rainbow 6 on the pc, and it died down by the time 3 came out.

i saw a really good future from ubisoft... they didnt need to take this EA offer.

Coventant, it wasn't an "offer", they bought Ubisoft stocks, without ever consulting them. Stocks are available to everyone, even competition, but they fact that EA never even talked to anyone at Ubisoft about it, pretty much doing it behind their backs, is a sign of just what kind of a money grubbing company EA really is. Someone gimme an EA SUX avatar. I'm joining the Crusade.
