Dumbest rumor ever- Halo 3 releases on May 15th, 2006

I can't believe this one is even making the rounds. Why would MS release Halo 3 against the japanese PS3 launch? Japanese gamers don't give a flying crap about Halo. The only reason the 360 is getting traction over there is because of the plethora of Japan-centric titles. Also, releasing six months ahead of the North american PS3 release would only null any affect they wamted it to have against PS3 sales. People are so stupid to even be considerng this.

Of course, lots of people were sure that Halo 2 was coming out in secret in november 2003. "A rep who stopped by E3 said it was happening!!!!!11!1!!"

Wait. It could keep about two or three Japanese gamers from buying a PS3 and getting Halo 3 instead. You never know.

Last I heard was more like March of 06 for PS3. Which seems unrealistic. I think it was a Sony VP in the latest PSM that said that. Of course, that could be a Japan release, and here in May.

I think when the XBox2 comes out everyone will quit crying "Halo 3". There are going to be so many great games to play, unlike this last generation of XBox titles. I pray we have more than one game franchise to talk about by March.

Does everyone realize that there is no passage in the bible condemning homesexuality. Its really just fodder for republicans to get ignorant bible thumpers worked up over so they get more votes. Hell, if the church was really so against it then preist would stop having sex with alter boys.

The reason why retailers put their own release dates up is because they're required by law to have one for anything that they sale by mail. So if no official release date is available, they just make one up.

I was thinking about this and maybe I missed something. Was the North American release of the PS3 pushed up or is it still holidays 2006?
