It's not that simple. I find it unlikely that you'll be able to use a standard USB adapter. It's not a definite no, but keep in mind that the Xbox360 is not running windows, and chances are, won't have the same kind of plug & play support drivers that a PC does.

It could go either way. Like Shaded pointed out, there may be a driver issue. Of course, if there isn't a driver issue, then almost any USB wifi adapter should work, since the one they show for the 360 looks jus tlike a USB wifi dongle.

if your 360 is SO far that it need wireless, it is just cheaper to get a 100ft cat-5.

Agreed with vman. EVen if it means moving the cord away after every use, its still worth it.

Unless you like clean setups like me.

Until recently I didn't care.. but everything looks so much better when no wires are visible.. im working on that now. No more wires seen on my surround sound... got wireless KB and mouse... and im going to buy a new case and thing to hold the wires in.

I used to post here a lot.

In a recent interview with J Allard, he said that current wi-fi adapters will still work with the 360.
The dedicated 360 wi-fi adapter is a USB2 adapter. However, the 360 will still have an ethernet port (obviously) and any game adapter will work.

I wonder if any USB2 wifi adapter would work? I own another one. But think the XB one is way over priced.
