Stuck in Ninja Gaiden Chapter 6---Calling all NG experts!!

Hello everyone...in a pickle here...need Ninja Gaiden expert help!

Here is my situation:

1. Began Chapter 9 (Military Base)...got to the boss Tank...realized I didn't start the level with enough health to beat him.
2. Found out online that back where the Bone Dinosaur was, there is a place one could rack up 99,999 essence. Then I could go to the shop and stock up.
3. I went back to that level and got my 99,999 by beating up some bats

THE PROBLEM: I cannot get out of this place! Here is where I'm stuck at:

1. I have gone into the gate which is to the right of the Holy Grail
2. I beat up those bats...then jump my way up to another level up
3. I'm now standing in a horseshoe shaped room
4. I leave and am now standing on a ledge in which the only way is left and up
5. I come to the end...but can jump across to a smaller ledge
6. I make it...and the only way is to jump to your right and get up to a save point (this is the highest point you can go)
7. THE PROBLEM IS THERE IS A METAL BAR STICKING OUT FROM THE WALL BLOCKING MY JUMP. I have tried several attempts but to no avail.

I've been told I can get out of this place...but I'm frustrated beyond belief. Can anyone help?

Man, I beat Ninja Gaiden and I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out exactly where you are... Is there any way you can take a picture?

Yea that is really confusing. Hmmm try gamefaqs...
goodluck though, ninja gaiden was my favorite xbox game of all time!
