Problems with Halo 2 BC on my 360???

Everytime I want to play Halo 2 on live with my 360 it makes me redownload the map packs. It takes about 1 hour to download them, then I can play no problem until I turn my 360 off. The next time I try to play on live the same thing happens? And you can't play ranked games on live without those maps so this really sucks. Has this happened to anyone else or am I the only unlucky one?

I have no problems as well. Have you tried talkin to XBox about the issue?

Yeah I didn't have that problem either. I only had to download the maps once.

It did take a while to download them, not quite an hour mind you, but once they were downloaded it was done.

In your case, the only thing I would check is the family settings on your Xbox. Sometimes, based on these settings certain BC games can mess up. However this is most likely not the case.

I think MxRacer makes the best suggestion in calling 1-800-4-MY-XBOX. They're usually pretty helpful (as I'm sure you've called before).

[Ihey just to let everyone know i got my 360 new in feb.2006. i played a few games on then tried demos that came with my mags. my box would not load anything. i had to call in about mine they said it was a faulty 360. i dont have a clue how that happened. but they replaced mine. it works great.(Like a new one

Which means he is pretty much the coolest kid on XBA right? Since the rest of us are nerds and all...

But seriously my friend had the same problem and he just sent his 360 in and got a refurbished one. Ya thats right MS was too cheap to send him a new 360 so they sent him a faulty one that they "fixed" up.

BTW he ended up sending the refurbished one in too cause it was screwed up. He has so far sent back 2 360's and still waiting for the latest one to mess up.

Why in hell would it take so long for anyone to download the maps? It took me around ten minutes to download the first one, and five for the other one... Also I don't have a problem playing the game with the maps, I just have a problem with the people who play the game... And 360Alot knows pretty much nothing of what he posts on this site so it really wouldn't matter... Meh that's just my opinion...
