How much does it cost to get hooked up to the internet for playing online, and how long does it usually take?

Well, rr...first, you have to have broadband (whether it's cable, DSL, etc...but no 56K)

Secondly, you need to have a HUB or a Switch (preferably a 10/100)

Third, you need to have 3 standard CAT 5 patch cables.

Finally, you need to download the free Gamespy Arcade Software and Free Gamespy Tunnel Software. To do that, simply go to this link: http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/tunnel_xbox.shtml

Just get on-line! You have no idea what you are missing, dude!

    Monkeyman...this is what you do:

    1. From your DSL modem, attach the first CAT 5 cable into the modem and the other end to the port on your HUB labeled "uplink"

    2. Next, from port 1 on your HUB, plug the second CAT 5 patch cable into it and the other end to the back of your computer - into the Ethernet port (it's the only port that it will fit into)

    3. Finally, from port 2, plug the last CAT 5 patch cable into it and the other end into your XBox

On Gamespy, you can play Halo, Tony Hawk 2X, and Nascar Heat so far! So, get on-line, dude! It's free!
