Ahhh liquor...........liquor is good too. Unless it is vodka or tequilla. I don't really care for either unless they are a part of a mixed drink like for example White Russians. I love White Russians. I have tried many times to make them at home but they are never as good as when the bartender makes them.
This one tops the SW-ALTA plate as the best IMHO!
but they make me sad
Do I not like Star Wars and Indy (LOL!!)?
...Have you forsaken me Spacey?!?!?
Just kidding but I am anxiously awaiting the day that my R6:V and 3 customs arrive!
I also like how the plate are now coming in boxes.
How & where to get u more of them?
The plates you wanted are on their way (Full-Auto, Outfit, COD2, etc...basically all my doubles)
Still cant get collection posted.
Would love the graw2 double and what ever else you got lyin' around (really want a GOW 500)
Anyway, keep up the good work. Cant wait till my day comes. I want people to ooh and aah over the three that you surprised that guy kingmidas81 with!!
Last box from you came in late august... I miss u man, sniff, sniff. (although the mix tape helps!)
PS - Congrats on gorillaz (and 'luv and gh0st)!
Hey, welcome to my nightmare.
Come January, when all the Christmas present plates are done and I've spent a week with my kids and stuff, you, 'luv and gh0st will be swimming in plates. I promise.
That Indiana Johnny plate box was actually a knife box from my own house. I doubt I'll find one just like it anywhere (without paying a bunch, anyway).
I've got four Rainbow Six: Vegas plates in the works as we speak, for you, 'luv, gh0st and another request. I've got an NES plate that is almost done. I've got a Halo clan plate started. I've got an Itachi plate almost done. I've got a Ferrari plate in the works and a Scout Sniper plate done, I have to get that same guy an Ohio State plate done, I finished a present plate that I can't show until the guy gets it - two, actually, now that I think about it. I have gh0st's Mike and Sully in the works, I have another sniper plate in the works, another 300 plate almost ready to list (last one, until the guy who wanted it gets some money), and some old ones that I need to get moving on again. Those include a TOOL plate, stundriver's Transformer's plate, the Manhunt Eye plate, and a number of plates for one guy (Heroes, A-Team, etc). I have two Super Mario World plates in the works and an order for two Lego Star Wars plates and a Super Mario Galaxy plate. Not to mention four orders for the KOTOR kit at last count. I spent a hundred bucks last night buying figures... heh heh heh, I got to buy Star Wars figures and not get yelled at, lol.
And the list of plates that are on the mental list keep getting bigger: Family Guy, Snoopy vs. Red Baron, Ariel the Little Mermaid, Duck Dodgers, Powerpuff Girls, another Glowing Yoda, a Spawn (dibs to moltenluv on that one), more Toy Story Aliens for a couple of you, more Incredibles (I never got a pic of that one - how strange.) Ratatouille. Just gh0st's and 'luv and you (Midas) could keep me busy for a YEAR!
And these forums are just starting to take off. The database will be rolled out in two parts, it looks like. First part will just be the database. It will have three parts. One part only I see, for entering plates into the database. One part you'll see for entering your search criteria. And one part will be displaying the results.
The second part will be the collection/wishlist/trade fodder part of it. You can put your name into the list of who owns it, who wants it and who wants to trade it.

Fantastic faceplate!
I have to ask, if you don't mind revealing a few minor trade secrets, what's your technique for the white pinprick stars? I've tried flicking long sable-hair brushes, and that achieves more of a flecked splattered effect than I'd like (at least for something like stars).
Any suggestions?
GREAT job space! the setup for and packaging of the plate is uncanny. I could never do something this epic if I tried.
You are a faceplate god among faceplate men (and women molten)![]()
God, the last thing I'd want is more customizers around here infringing on my turf.
Turning more people onto customizing is goal #1 here, so if I HAVE an answer, I'll happily pass it on. I have no secrets, at least, concerning the creation of faceplates. Ask anyone, I LOVE to talk about it.
For the super tiny stars, I took Testors flat white model car paint (water based). I diluted it about 10% (a few drops in a tiny bottle of paint.). I shake it good, and pour a little onto a toothbrush. Before it can run through the bristles and onto the toothbrush, I turn it upside down so the paint runs to the top of the bristles again, and I flick it at the faceplate. I move it around, but then hold it still in spots to make "clusters."
Same process for the blood on the Heroes paints except that I don't thin the paint so the spots are bigger and more randomly sized.
Once done, then I put a little more paint on the brush and whack it against a stick or board. That throws the larger dots of paint.
I've tried dropping drips of paint one at a time from a high level to "splat" on the plate, but the falling drops can't get up enough speed. They still land as dots. I've only tried that with the unthinned red paint. It might work differently with the thinned white paint.
Huh... interesting. I'm going to have to try that exact Testors/Toothbrush combo. I've done small art brushes and toothbrushes in the past, and I tend to get heavier results, or things that appear to be "moving" in a certain direction. Obviously I added some splashes for dramatic effect, but I still couldn't manage to get the itty-bitty dots all by their lonesome.
Dunno, perhaps I'll try it from straight above. I can't imagine they'd spread/slide too far in any one direction that way.
Or $124.41, whichever comes first.OK, here it is... the $300 Custom![]()
I see toiletbowl came back![]()
