I just placed my first order with the faceplate design studio. Man that is slick!!!! I cannot wait for my plates.

What sucks is that I was at E3 and did not even know about the AWake plate... Oh well. Maybe I'll win the contest! Serves me right for waiting in long lines to get inflatable Wiimote and frisbee! I just cant resist free stuff!

This same guy has had these for more than a month. They started in teh hundreds and are now down to $50. I'm not paying more than $30 for one, so I'm being patient. They were given out at an event, and I think he ended up with a box full of them.

The seller is the former owner of TXB before they sold to IGN. He still runs the site there. Once they were purchased, he couldn't sell the plates anymore because he no longer had the rights. He's been unloading a few now and then on eBay. Still a pretty rare plate, especially that it was made by MadCatz and in retail packaging. Probably the rarest MadCatz plate as far as that goes. Anyway, he and his wife just had a baby so I think he's putting more up to bring in some funds.

I've been seeing that when I find only one person selling one plate, but having lots of them. AT&T. Tekken 6. Just like the red Naruto, yellow Naruto, Redman, etc. I mean, I'm the only guy with the Skalshop plates, and what am I asking for them? Twenty bucks.
