I wasn't sure that I would like this game at first, but after a few times playing it, it got very addictive. I found it to be creative and I love those warped commercials(How to Walk with a Rock, Baby's First Chainsaw, and Major Woody's Spank Tank) and cinematics. It's easy to learn and fun to compete against others."

Description

Whacked! is a fast and furious arena combat game in which eight demented contestants are pitted against each other in the world’s most irreverent and dangerous game show. When contestants take the stage, all hell breaks loose as free-for-all combat ensues. Contestants must use power-ups and zany weapons such as giant staplers and rubber ducky grenades to flatten their opponents and win a grand prize that’s out of this world.

Overall: This is the most pointless kiddy game ever. I mean its fun for 1/2 an hour but then it gets boring. Nobody's on live anymore (I don't blaim them), and you basically do the same thing over and over! No wonder Presto got screwed at the end (well it was because of this game).
Gameplay: The gameplay was pretty bad. It was like I was playing 1 game mode over and over again. The settings didn't really make a difference, because the aim was to kill people (over, and over again!), and collect stars. The amount of stars & kills was the only thing that changed.
Graphics: This game was okay visually. The maps/stages do look neat, but they lack detail. Also your character doesn't even hold the gun! It hovers over you (which takes the realist down to a -12)
Sound: The same thing kept on playing over and over, and all of the characters voices were so annoying I felt like stabbing my ear out. And the sound effects lacked variety.
Suggestions: Try making a game less kiddy.

Overall: THIS IS NOT A FIGHTING GAME!! This is a kids smash stuff game. Everything in it made me get annoyed and pissed off. I HATE THIS GAME!!
Gameplay: Fun game for about an hour. Then it just gets old. You can only jump on people and smash them so much before you wanna throw this game against the wall.
Graphics: Visually its good considering the style of game it is. And the cinematics look sweet to. So not much to complain about.
Sound: Sound is crazy. Lots goin on in the game and the sounds add to the chaos its trying to make the player feel.

Overall: Here's an SOS - PEOPLE NEED TO BUY AND PLAY WHACKED MORE ON XBOX LIVE. This is (even if the box art makes it look stupid) THE BEST xbox live game out there. There is endless replay factor with this game. It is, for lack of a better definition, Xbox's rendition of TWISTED METAL and it's beyond fun to play. So get online like when this game was first released!!!
Gameplay: Xbox live description: Pick from a variety of characters, then beat the crap out of one another. Or king of the hill. Or beat the crap out of one another trying to collect the most stars (my favorite) - either way, this game is so much fun and the boards have excellent replay value.
Graphics: While the box art, and the overall theme of this game looks retarded, the game itself is a lot of fun. The graphics are not that bad at all, it is a cartoon mimic with adult themes.
Sound: The music is a bit cartoonish, but it works for the "over the top" sado-masochistic-gameshow type theme it is shooting for.
Suggestions: Make a sequel with more characters, new boards, and the ability to use a code to take Lucy's bars off.

Overall: a party game, very fun but a little childish and sometimes kinda strange the gameplay and everythin is tight and the commercials are funny!
Gameplay: You're in a game show and you compete in such games like dodge ball, fragfest and chicken. If u like party games get it
Graphics: beautiful, everythimg is detailed probabbly one of the best lookin games on the box. But what get's me mad is fish eye it's cool but distracting.
Sound: great excellent!! voice acting and nothin ever get's annoying and funny. The weapons have each a different sound. Goood Job!
Suggestions: Sequel, More !&%$@#* in chaaracters and ton o cinematics good Job!!!

Overall: I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!! its so fun to play with friends and even better on xbl! Not too mention the stellar single gameshow mode. There's so many sweet weapons and levels as well with cool weapons.
Gameplay: ITs really fun and easy to learn..........There is tuns of sweet gamemodes as well and XBL HAAAAAAAA....
Graphics: The visuals are ok but great for the type of game it is........im impressed with the cutscenes and of coarse sponsor adds LMAO
Sound: Great sounds of everything especially voices and weapon AT JOBa!!!!aLSO the little music is coo.

Overall: Whacked is a game with a fun and excellent multiplayer mode, a lackluster single-player campaign and enough freakish style to entertain the sickest of minds (like mine).
Gameplay: Whacked is based around a simple game mechanic tht worked for twisted metal: run around and smash the opponent. What was so much fun in Twisted Metal is fun again in Whacked! Only instead of cars you have some psychotics... and instead of guns and missiles you have.... guns and missiles and egg guns and belch and kabobs...
You have to play it to enjoy it.
Graphics: Looks great. Haven't experienced a framerate slowdown ever, but I shouldn't considering you can only have 4 players in an arena and the arenas can be quite small.
Sound: While funny at times, the background sounds can be disturbingly loud. While funny, it is still a thumbs down.
Suggestions: Kick up the modes and unlockables. Larger stages with more characters equals great fun on Live!

Overall: I have got to admit, this game is pretty fun. I don't like the single player very much but the XBL is hilariouse. I love whippen butt and talking smack at the same time. It is funny when you split someone's wig and then you laugh at them because it tells them who killed them. Very fun game, kind of addicting late at night when your bored.
Gameplay: The gameplay is not great but pretty !&%$@#* good. I like the controlls becsause they are very simple. An inexperienced person can play with ease. I also love the characters and weapons. Some of the weapons are hilariouse and leave me laughing when I frag someone.
Graphics: The graphics are also pretty darn good. Not the best I have ever seen, but good. I really have nothing else to say about them.
Sound: I thought the sound was great on this game. All of the little exploding sounds and the annoucer in the background telling everone who is winning. I thought they did a very good job on the sound.
Suggestions: Not really any. The others on here were complaining about the levels bieng to small but I think it makes it more fun because there is alot of action. Keep up the good work!

Overall: Well this game is for people who wana just have fun, the multi is cool, and its live compatable so if u have live and are really bored with thought consuming games get this...
Gameplay: Gameplay is simple you can collect stars [Combat], kill eachother [Fragfest], hold a trofy for a certain amount of time [Grab N' Run], Stand in a certain spot fo a few minutes [King of the Hill], Play Dodgeball w/ a certain amount of lives [Dodge Ball], Kill chickens and collect their stars [Chicken]... and play all of these except Dodge Ball and Chicken (Chicken is 1 player) on LIVE
Graphics: The grafics on this game are really good... They are cartoony but not cell shaded. Characters are... well, unique...
Sound: Sound for the levels fit perfectly, The characters saying the same thing over and over when they die may get annoying (ex. Charity: "My Pretty dress is all dirty")
Suggestions: Great game, a lot of replay in this game... i cant wait for Whacked 2! and i'll be shure to get it...

Overall: the videos found on OXM game discs turned out to be very funny & even better than the game. this party game has nothing on Fuzion Frenzy. it becomes a little more fun when playing with friends but def. barley deserves a rentel.
Gameplay: the controls arent that great & sometimes make u hate the game 4 it. the XB Live option makes this game a possible rentel but if u dont have Live then i say just say no to Whack!
Graphics: the graphics are a little cartoonish but thats also what makes it kinds cool. i really like the kitchen level. i think its cool jumping onto a jar of pickles.
Sound: sound was good.
Suggestions: whack makers please put down ur comtrollers & just step away.

Overall: Whacked is one of those games that was probably more fun for me than it should have been. I don't have Xbox Live (no broadband internet :( ). So, I primarily played the single player gameshow mode and multi-player on split screen. I found the diverse gameplay (dodgeball, frag fest, king of the hill, chicken, etc...), numerous stages and weapons, unique characters, and the sense of humor to be a blast.
Gameplay: Gameplay is very simple to learn, and there is enough new weapons, characters, and stages to unlock to keep it feeling fresh. It is a simple game that is really fun. Some of the characters are very funny. I particullarly liked Toof, Lucy (why won't those darn bars fall of???), and Charity.
Graphics: The game play visuals are pretty good, but nothing that will knock you out of your seat. The cinematics, on the other, hand are top notch and very funny.
Sound: My only beef with the game is in the sound department. The basic sound effects and voices are decent, but I really think that this is the type of game that should have allowed for you to use your own soundtrack. The music playing on the stages is pretty ho-hum as it is.
Suggestions: A few more commercial cinematics would have been nice, as they get a little old after you are playing the single player game with the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.. characters. Let us use our custom soundtracks!!!

Overall: it's no Halo, but it is fun. definately a party game, as playing solo ends up getting boring quickly. it's easy to learn how to play, not very complicated to master, and the game variety isn't bad, although it's the boards they take place on that make all the difference. great rental if you're having friends over, or a buy if you live in a dorm. haven't played Xbox Live with it yet (as Live isn't out yet) but i think this could end up being a blast on Live. with various levels of difficulty, this game could keep you going for a while, but Live play is what i think will keep the game alive for a good while.
Gameplay: the game controls are very good. only two main buttons, attack and jump, and then the controls, and shoulder streef buttons. it doesn't get any easier than this.
Graphics: the graphics are good, but nothing that will drop your jaw... unless they got rid of those censor bars on Lucy. the design of the characters is very good, all unique in their own way.
Sound: i loved the sound in this game, not so much because it was spectacular, but because of the funny comments some characters make and the wonderful attitude of the various characters. where ToeJam & Earl III fails to do attitude, this game succeeds.
Suggestions: having Xbox Live for a game is a great point for any game. would love to be able to use my own soundtracks while playing various boards, as it's a feature that should be in EVERY game, especially party ones. i loved some of the commercials, yet others were just not funny at all. would like to see downloadable content in the form of more boards, characters, commericals, weapons, etc. downloadable content (whether Live or OXM disc) is what will keep aging games young and keep people coming back for more (see Half-Life on the PC).

Overall: This is the first time i do a review about a game that was never reviewed before, so it's pretty fun but in the same time, it's hard to take a position about it. First of all, this game was waited by all the beta-tester of x-box live because they were wanted more than a bunch of football game has their testing and they will not be very happy if i said that this game was really bad. In fact, it's was ! I though that this game will be like fuzion frenzy or mario party but it's was a little bit different. Like always you should read my review to have more information about Whacked.
Gameplay: Whacked is the most easy game i ever played in my life, not necessary by the skill level but by the controlling system. To play, you must push X or B to attack and A or Y to jump and for the most experimented contesters, you can use the right and the left trigger to strafe. Let's talk about the levels, the character and the mods ! The levels are great but in my mind they could have been larger. What i like in them is that they always got something special to kill ennemies like in the one where you must take some matches to use a torch or in christmas tree level where you must find a batterie to use the tank. Finally, i think they forget to add more level that eight. Next part is the character and i must admit that they are the best part of the gameplay. I really like the naked girl, the crazy rabbit or the lazy boy on the couch ! To finish, i must say that the game got a big lack in the mod, only six games and one of them can be only play on single player : it's get boring really soon. So if you want to know what they are, here it's goes : hold and grab, fragfest, chicken run, dodgeball, star and king of the hill. The lasting appeal of this game is also really short, three hour to pass one character and after the first one, you don't want to see the other cutscenes because you saw the main story and the commercials are too stupid. I forget to say that the choice of the weapon and also for the special events are enormous and funny.
Graphics: Visual is great if you take care that they took a cartoon background but it seems that most gamers will though that this game is for children if i said cartoon, but in fact it's for young adult. Have you ever saw a kitchen knife that hit other member in a kid game ? To conclude, i should say that all the character, the background and every thing you can see even if the video are really well done.
Sound: The voices acting are really cool but only in the video because when you enter the game, the announcer and your main character have like two or three sentence to say so it's get annoying fast. The music is good but it's seem that they only add one song.
Suggestions: Can you work on the sound and the lasting appeal ? Also more levels and mods could have been great.
