Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind
Overall: This game is by far the best game I've played on the Xbox(yes, including Halo). At first I wanted to return the game right after I bought it. But as I started playing it more and getting more into the storyline, I fell in love with it. I'm to my 3rd character already, almost done with the main quest. The only gripes I have with Morrowind is the dreaded "dirty disk errors". My game has crashed so many times that I save every minute..pathetic, I know. Also, the choppy animations of the NPC's walking is horrid. But other than that, the story, gameplay, and lasting appeal are the best of any Xbox game IMO.Gameplay: As I said above, the gameplay is nothing short of greatness. Some people may say the battle system gets old after awhile, and maybe they say that because they keep getting killed by the mudcrabs...not my problem. I think the battle system is fine, unlike the FF series(take turns hitting each other...random battles while walking around a field...woo). I have to agree that those friggin cliff racers are a biotch though...
Graphics: Morrowind is the biggest game on the Xbox right now in terms of the overwhelming size of the land of Vvardenfell. No game comes close to the gargantiousness(real word?)of the level of detail, hand placed items, NPCs, playable characters, explorable places, etc, etc. The only bad thing about the graphics is the choppiness of the NPC movement. But I don't really mind espcially when I am whooping a daedra's !&%$@#* with my viper daedric claymore(you want some DagotH? JUST BRING IT)
Audio: Wow. The sound. Walking along the road totally minding your own buisiness and then suddenly, it starts to rain. and then...out of nowhere...BOOOM! the sound of thunder crackling throughout the land. I'm still in awe by the wonderful sounds that I hear when I play Morrowind. The blight storms really make you feel like you're in a sand storm...I squint everytime I encounter a blight storm because I always feel like dust will get in my eyes. Call me crazy...yeah, crazy for Morrowind! :)
Suggestions: Make more sequels of The Elder Scrolls! And make sure they're xbox x-clusive! Great job w/ Morrowind Bethesda! Keep up the great work!
