Halo for PC Banshee in Multiplayer?

I was going through Bungie.com and saw this. Are they going to let you fly around with in a Banshee in the multiplayer levels? Or am I just seeing things??

that's right. Halo PC has banshee in multiplayer as far as i know.

Sure it will proly be on the pc. I heard bout that too..Thats awesome...
O yea, will u b able to play online?
If u get the game on the computer, could u play online?
Man that would be insane, and id definately get it...
Other wise ill stick to HALo on Xbox..

That was one of my only disappointments with the original Halo on XBox...no banchees in multi-player mode. It would totally add a whole new element to Blood Gulch and Sidewinder.

But, I understand that Bungie scrapped a lot of stuff for the XBox version of Halo so they could meet the XBox launch. I would practically gaurantee that Bungie won't rush Halo 2...that's for damn sure.

It's been planned since the Xbox version came out. Supposidly it's coming out this summer. Ah yes, you can play online. I'm hoping we can play coop online though

i read in PC Gamer that there will be more new maps and yeah u will be able to use the vehicles, as in ALL of them, online. The thing theyre really working on is, and i quote "Make playing Halo online as smooth as butter."

I dont like pc shooters...soo hard to move around. I can navigate entire levels in halo with my eyes closed, but I get stuck in doorways in pc games...and who cares about banshee's in online multiplayer for halo...there's going to be banshee's and online multiplayer for halo 2.

Hey Ehw dont you think by part 2 they'll have come up with new vehicles anyways ,ones even sweeter than the banshee. It'll be making Halo fans say Banshee what?? I mean really.

That's what I said to my friends the first fime I played multiplayer in Halo on the XBo Launch day. That they should have let you use the Banshee.

Now they had to add it

Oh the satisfaction of shooting your friends down. God, that's going to be fun when they come at you with the banshee and you blast them out of the sky with the Scorpion or even the rocket launcher. Imagine the antics.. Lobbing a plasma grenade onto the front of a passing by Banshee.. Or even better yet:
Dogfighting over bloodgulch. Air-to-air combat. The possiblities are endless, I can even imagine in team play having your very own air support. Imagine that.. You're pinned down by a sniper.. or even another vehicle and you can hear the familiar sound of a Banshee in flight. Your buddy comes in and strafs the enemy positon or launches the fuel rod cannon into a known sniper location.

Form a clan and you can have divisions, or specialists.
Sniper, Ground warfare, vehicle support, and airborne support.
There you go. A 4 man team.

Will there be anything new? YES. The game will ship with full multiplayer supported over the Internet, with all the modes that were included with Halo on the Xbox, as well as a few new options. Gearbox has also created six new multiplayer maps, including a few that take advantage of another new feature: the Banshee fighter can now be used in multiplayer, as can a new plasma weapon (previously only used by the Covenant in the single-player campaign) and a modified Warthog with a missile launcher in the rear. Is all this going to be in Halo 2? Do you think we'll be able to pilot the covenent tank in H2? And I heard, don't know where, that you'll be able to be the covenent in multiplayer in H2 also, any truth there?

Thats friggon awesome...Im definately getting this game now..Hopefull i wont have to get any special hook ups..This is a definate now..I have to save up for HALO 2 and this...Man this will last me forever.....

Damn, that would be tighter than a frog's ass. I'd pick it up, but, I'd probably have to buy a new computer. This one is 2 1/2 years old now...it definately couldn't handle it. Hopefully they'll implement user made multi-player maps for Halo 2 on XBox...that would seriously rock
