umm, the last one looks almost cell shaded to me.

the black hooded thing is called a brute, i don't think it has a hood and i think it more brown but it is dark in the picture. and is it just me or are a lot of the screenshots and stuff seem to be of differant quality?

Ah yes, Lynx, it would be wonderful to play at that resolution. lol....Anyway, these shots do look great, even though they probably look better than they will in the actual game.
Looks cool, I can;t wait for the release of this game(Feb. 2004). Seems so long from now, but its better for Bungie to take thier time and make it the best it can be. BEcause if this game sucks all hell will break loose in Xbox Nation.

[edit] alboogy, they're screens of the in-game models posed in the way tha tbungie wants them to be....
remmeber how cool the halo screens looked pre xbox launch? they were all in thiird person, and posed that way so they look cool, but everything was using in game stuff...
so we can expect the game to look that good, yes...just at a lower resolution due to our crappy TVs
wow cant wait for this game. i baught halo a week before xbox came out, that was the worst week of my life having halo and not being able to play it.
