Xbox Doom 3 Developer Revealed
Eurogamer reports that a statement made by id Software CEO Todd Holleshead at an Activision European press event last week, Vicarious Visions will be developing the first person shooter sequel Xbox port of id's upcoming Doom III. The developer is reportely already working on Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Trinity ports for the Xbox.

I wonder how much this will affect the game? I heard the PC levels will be a lot bigger compared to XBOX.
Are these the same developers who created the Doom series to the begin with? If it isn't, I hope the series isn't ruined.
Nope, these guys are apparently like gearbox. They work on ports, addons, and such. I too hope they don't ruin anything, but all they're doing is porting. The worst that can happen is bad framerates, or clunky controls.Originally posted by Discretion
