At first glance, a coaster ride doesn’t really leap out at you as being a great idea for a videogame, but with the character-driven story of Haunted Mansion, it’s well suited. High Voltage Software, who brought us Hunter: The Reckoning, was tapped to transform the amusement park attraction into a playable game. So, the question remains; can you make a game derived from a ride? In this case, the Disney-based adventure turns out to be an unexpected treat just in time for the Halloween season.
