    Angry Need help with scratches

Ok, I was playingNeed for Speed underground finishing the last race on a tournament when my older brother grabs the power and A/V cables and rips them out of my Xbox. My Xbox jerked backwards and i heardthe CD clank around in it. This morning when I tried to play it, it gave me a dirty disc error, so I checked the CD and there was a huge scratch on it. My question: Is there any way I can get a scratch out of a game CD?

The answer is unfortunately... Yes! Of course it depends how deep the cut is, if it's only "skin deep" as they say, it's totally fixable. In fact, it happened to my DOA3 disc, I got mad and kicked my xbox (yes... I'm ashamed... -_-). Anyway, I sent it to a Smoothing company, (just look for companies that smooth metal/diamonds/gold whatever), and gave them my disc.

I got it back and never recieved a DDE again. Good luck!

There are also things you can buy at a store. You buy it and its like a thing you put the cd in.. And it even comes with this goo.. You put it on and then in the mechanism and there is a knob you twirl and make it rub the disc. That goo fills in tiny scratches. Works real well just too bad I cant recall the name or more exact ways to explain it to you.

NO!!! DON'T GO FOR THE CHEAP STUFF WITH THE GOO...

GO FOR THE BEST DISC-REPAIR TOOL EVER!

It has a couple different names here are the ones I know:

*Their all made by a company called digital innovations*

    SKIP DR.
    DVD DR.
    CD DR.
    GAME DR.

Anyways their all the same, except each one has a different item that comes with it.

I've been using DVD DR. on all my cds/games/dvd's since 2001, after I saw Tips and Tricks review it in 2000...Man, this thing gives life back to all your cds...so go for the besvt only.

    They have 2 versions.

    1: A manual hand lever version - (The one I got) $30.

2: The automatic version - (came out this year) (bit more expensive) $40-60 It ranges by store.

Thanks everyone. My brother gave me the $50 to replace it, and I don't know if I can save the original disc now as my friend and I were playing frisbee with it lol. I just gotta get the fingerprints off and maybe I'll try it out
