    Default hooking Xbox to monitor?

    does anyone know if there is an adapter and where I can get it that lets me hook up my xbox to my computer monitor?

    yep, many people do it.

    the adaptor thats often mentioned is the XVGA adaptor. But, there are others out there.

    Hey why would you want to put it on the monitor? My monitor is 16 inch. and my tv is 35 inch.

    my tv blew up just after i beat amped before i left for vacation now im back without a tv.. hopefully this will be a good alternative for me.

    This is a good idea. My monitor is the same size as my tv but I'm sure the picture will be better.

    Yea I forget what they're called though. but if you have an alienware for instance they have the actual video and audio jacks in the computer

    They're called VGA adapters. You can get a decent one for $45-$75. Just look around.
