Probably will, and it will probably suck, just like Ghost Recon did on PS2. Can't blame Ubi for wanting to make money, they went about developing the game the correct way anyhow, PC first, then Xbox and finally the worst system on the market. That is how ALL multiplatform games should be developed.

As long as PS2 is making profit, developers will stay on the bandwagon...I just wish Gran Turismo 4 would come to X-box...I'd rather spend just $50 instead of buying an entire PS2 system with the essentials to play online and the game

Well, so far from what I have saw of the Playstation 2's version of Tom Clancy titles, I'll stick with the Xbox versions. Did anyone ever check out the Ps2 version of Splinter Cell? I did. It looked alright for a PS2 game, but that's not saying much.

I don't really care that much if the PS2 gets RS3 (plus Ubi was never Xbox exlusive in the first place). I just hope they edit out the pr0n links (goes to another XBA thread) in the PS2 version!!

Why haven you picked it up for the xbox yet? the game is freakin badass and i have a feelin that the ps2 version is gonna come no where close.

At least UBI isn't pulling a Rockstar on their customers. I say go for it. It isn't going to be as good as the Xbox version, but it will be good. Think if the tables were turned? Ubi should develop for all consoles.

RS3 for PS2 will only be capable of support 8 players online, meaning 4 vs 4 which should be fairly boring. The graphics don't look that bad, but then again the Xbox graphics aren't anything steller either.

Ubi never said RS3 would be Xbox Exclusive, it was only a time exclusive for the end of 2003. Just like Splinter Cell was.

At least it's Ubi sharing their love between the consoles - and Xbox first - it's unfortunate that more companies aren't too keen that they will sell more if they develop something for each console - and throwing things in their that are exclusive to that console isn't a bad thing either....I wish EA would realize this sooner or later.

It's okay Ubi needs to make money so that they can continue to make great games for the xbox. And GT4 is a great game one of the few reasons to have a PS2.

Ubi is just doing the smart thing. They're not falling into the trap of rockstar and making their games exclusive for more than two years to one console. They are keeping some of them exclusive for enough time to the XBox though to build up the foundation and they obviously know which console to start on for the quality. Gotta give them credit for that!

Well, Rainbow Six 3 was announced a time-exclusive for Xbox, not so surprise it's will come out for PS2.

If RS3 is so laggy online with the Xbox then I would imagine the PS2 verison will lag even more online. I just Ubi releases a patch for that problem on Xbox.
