1st Person GTA???

A random thought just passed my mind. Should they make an otional 1st person view for the upcoming GTA Title?

Sure why not. Switching from 1st to 3rd was a nice feature in Morrowind. It may be quite useful for certain missions.

I guess so, the option should at least be there...one of the defining things of GTA was an overhead view, then the 3rd person changed the entire genre, but i doubt the 1st person one would make that big of a difference to the game...

Sure, why not. I think that not aiming in GTA kinda sucked. It took no skill unless you used something that had to aim, but the didn't take that much skill either.

1st person makes it alot easier to throw grenades. or any throwable object. But if 1st person isn't possibly for rockstar, a power gauge in the HUD whould be fine.

Whats a power guage? If it is like how fast (mph) you are traveling then I agree, I've also thought they should put that in!

I think it would be nice because then you could actually aim the gun yourself instead of locking on all the time.

Sorry bro...beaten. This is a mod for the PC version. Rockstar actually coded 1st person view into the game when you get into a car...it was just changed in the final product. This Mod is still in devel. Lighting doesn't work right thru a window in 1st person view in the car, and some other issues....but

There are actually some great PC mods for GTA. Multiplay support being my favorite. There are also some pretty funny ones.

they need 1st person and definately a speedometer. there was i mod for the speedometer for pc, i think. pc is usually much better with games because you can edit source code and stuff like that and basically make it however you want.
