Default Xbox Predictions-EA To Buy EUROPE

EA Bails on Ubisoft, Buys EUROPE
Finding surprising opposition to its attempt to buy the videogame industry piece by piece (see France Vs. EA), the clever business folks at EA decide to skip fighting for small potatoes. Instead of squabbling over scraps with Ubisoft, EA decides to go BIG, finding a loophole in international law, and it buys all of Europe. That's right, we predict EA will buy the entire European Nation. It seems logical, right? Why should EA really have to deal with all this BS and compete with other companies when it can own all of them? EA would own most of its competition: Ubisoft, Infogrames (Atari), Codemasters, Eidos and a few other publishers and developers.

I don't know if you're serious or not (I think you are) and I agree entirely. Maybe it's just me hoping, but I think they are really ruining themselves by greed. The whole N(EA)FL has destroyed their competition defeating any purpose of them releasing another NFL game. It has made many people losing respect for EA, I've found out not only from people like us who really follow games, people who just play Madden and GTA are pissed off by it too. Their "attack" on Ubi Soft remains to be seen, but Ubi Soft has gotten the French Government to step in (its on Gamespot somewhere), and I'm curious to see how that takes place. I truely honestly think the downfall of EA will be this year, or at least begin this year. Which would suck is Criterion Games went with them since they are working on Burnout 4. But I can handle no Burnout 4, and no EA rather than Burnout 4 & EA......

well not fall in 2005.. but the revolt of no one buying their games should begin.. and in late 2006 they will be in huge trouble.. 2007 EA folds or sells to another company

I used to post here a lot.

Yeah, there will be no "revolt". Honestly, probably at least 90% of the people who buy games have no idea about any of this, and if they did, probably wouldn't care.

I started hating EA the day they took they Bond franchise and made it lame. GoldenEye was 100x better than the next games they have made. They all had great potential but like everything else with EA they did the absolute minimum effort and shipped another bland-mediocre game. Stupid EA... go make some more sport games that are exactly like they last one.

apparently being sexually violatedby a pack of velociraptors is an accurate metaphor for EA's business practices.
