Default Your Opinion... Best XBOX 4 Player games

Buddies and I going to have a little bash...just wondering what the best 4 player multiplayer games were that are out there on XBOX. Something not as obvious as a Halo or Halo 2.

Ghost Recon 2 is a fun 4 player game but I will agree with the last two, Halo is the best!

I also agree, Halo is the best 4 player game on the Xbox.

So is Mary Party, but that doesn't mean it's not fun (well, at least the first couple MP's were.).

So it just happens that there are 4 of us as best friends here. We've played many Xbox games and wasted many hours into the night doing the 4 player simul-games. Yes, Halo and Halo 2 are on top of the heap. But.. when you want to do some co-op missions with 4 people what can you do?
    This is what we enjoyed:

    Hunter: The Reconing
Really a fun game where everyone takes on specific characters with certain powers to fight the undead. The game gets really hard and teamwork becomes valuable.

    Brute Force:
Its a little frusterating in the begining because all 4 characters are not introduced immediately. That means players 2-4 are generic soldiers until about the 4th chapter. Then the real fun begins.

    Conflict: Desert Storm
Something about these Conflict games keeps us coming back to play it over and over. Four players, 4 soldiers with certain skills. Simple.. down and dirty but addictingly fun. The tighter the players... the more interesting the game gets as you create plans that utilize all your soldier's skills to perform one task. Nothing like urban combat with your buddies at an arcade pace.

Conflict: Desert Storm 2 (Back to Bagdad)
See above.. just add better graphics, smarter enemies and much longer missions.

    Conflict: Vietnam
See above in the Conflict series.. just add better music, even better graphics and the intensity of jungle warfare were bullets just come out of the bushes and you don't know where it's coming from.

    Project Gotham Racing 2
Better cars, better tracks just makes it a lot more fun than the first. Four TVR12's screaming down the Nurbering track at 190+ bumper to bumper and that first tight turn is coming up. One of you has to give.. 2 of you will slide off the track, and someone will get lucky and dodge the chaos. Every race is brutal when you all drive the same class cars.

Raw 2: Ruthless Aggression (4 player season career mode rocks)
Yeah the game wasn't perfect.. and I haven't touched the 3 installment.
But the ability to play with 4 players at the same time in a season, each person competing for the top slot.. That's fun. The game forces alliances.. attempts to break friends up. When it was time to arrange your schedule, we sent everyone out of the room so that it was a secret. It was really interesting.

If you add lots of liquor and play for money it becomes SO much more adult!

You just need to think out of the box.

Ghost Recon 2 is good but if you play with 4 on one screen it get's hard to see what you are shooting at.

Like some else said X-men is fun to.

Hmm... Yeah, it's hard to decide beyond HALO, but other than that one, I have to recommend some DOA 3 & Ultimate. I'm recommending those because it doesn't seem to me like you have a LAN so when you're sharing a TV it's kinda' wise to be able to see the whole thing.
I've been known to play a TAG Match with three others for hours!
Besides HALO's & DOA's, I'm a stickler for a little Splinter Cell, Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Complete with the multiplayer D-Day landing & all) as well as, well obviously Brute Force.
I also can't get enough of Rainbow 6 3 either, but I'm a shooter guy. I think you need to help us out & tell us what your favorite Genre is & then we could help you out.
Ha ha ha! If not I'll come back here later & recommend The Guy Game! Ha ha ha ha!

Sports games are always fun. If one of your friends doesn't really like them, then just play Blitz or Hitz or some other Midway sports game. Fast arcade action, and they are insanely fun games. Also, Hunter: The Reckoning is a great game, like Gauntlet for N64.
