third-person perspective games

Does anyone have or know the names of all the 3rd-person perspective shooters,RPG's XBOX GAMES. I love to play that type, games like: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, or Full Spectrum Warrior. Can someone provide me with list or suggestions. Thanks, Silverdreds47

Hello and welcome to XBA. As far as RPGs go, give Morrowind GOTY edition and Jade Empire a try. There are so many great action games in the 3rd person view(tom clancy) and if you are a fan of the horror genre they make great 3rd person views as well.

welcome to xba... well, i couldnt name all of them.. but i will try to name the ones which i think of as best. fable, elder scrolls, ghost recon 2 (1st and 3rd person) and ninja gaiden...

If you want to try something different, check out Freedom Fighters for xbox. The games a pretty sweet 3rd person shooter that has you fighting an underground rebellion in NYC against the commie invaders. good stuff.

oh, and it seems that gears of war is turning out to be a prety cool 3rd person shooter for the 360. although not at launch, it is one to wait for

Max Payne 1 and 2 were good.

I definitely recommend Max Payne. Excellent game. Ghost Recon 2 is good, as well.

Mercenaries is the best third person shooter so far; Star Wars Battlefront a close second.
Beware the Terminator games, they're TERRIBLE..

The Grand Theft Auto games are always fun. And if PS2 games count, the SOCOM franchise is fantastic in my opinion.

In my opinion Morrowind GOTY edition rules all in this category but deus ex: invisible war rips as well, additionally the unreal series is also cool

i would say ... freedom fighters, morrowind, fable, ghost recon 2, star wars knights of the old republic (1 and 2), both max paynes, i would suggest ninja gaiden but it may not be wut ur lookin for exactly.......o ya and welcome to xbox addict !!
