Default Well guys...the day of all days has arrived...

Yes...I have an xbox now...sort of. My friend let me borrow it, it has a problem, it wont read disks very well. So, I'm wondering what I can do cheaply to fix it, I'm willing to do any new hardware installationg myself, but I'm hoping for a short term fix like blowing on it NES style. Any advice guys? I need your help. If I fix it, he'll prolly let me have it because he's saving up for a 360.....

My xbox is fine, but just like other people, we all have problems with the game discs. Like sometimes if you put in a game, it may say things like: your xbox disc is dirty. But the funny part, those discs might be brand new hahah.

I suggest you just buy a cleaning disc at ebgames, i bought one for 12.99.

Do you have any import shops in the area?

If so you might wanna try taking it there and let them test it out and go from there.

Soda, just replace the drive or the lens. Both are relatively easy to do. I'll PM you somelinks.
