Call of Duty: World at War Beta

Anyone else get into the beta?

I'm downloading it now, probably won't play it until I get up this afternoon. I'll post my impressions of the beta on Monday or Tuesday.

Edit: I ended up playing a game before I went to bed. It plays a lot like COD4, looks just like it as well but then again its using the same engine so it should look and play the same. Once I play about 50 or so games I'll update my impressions. So far I'm liking what I'm seeing. They have 5 different modes in the beta, War - which you have to capture battlefield command points, Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Pick Up TDM - which is team deathmatch only there are no parties allowed, and Free for all.

Yeah I am in it and I have been plying it for a couple hours now and I am the highest lvl. It is amazing, I absolutely love it. Its CoD4 X2. It is everything you love from the fourth one times two. It's great. I suggest picking it up when it comes out.

Wow....COD4 is by far my favorite 360 game thus far so that is some serious kudos.

No I don't think so. The only way was to sign up at callofduty.com or preoreder at gamestop i think. But yeah, think of Cod4's gameplay and party system and perks and all of that just with WW2 weapons and new maps and co op and everything.It also feels alot better, it feels more war-like and the weapons feel like real weapons and more punchy kind of.
