Overall: its a real fun game... but for how long?? I havnt touched it for ages... it really offers short term thrills and not too much more
Gameplay: gameplay is great, and perfect for those who like to pick up and play, but also deep enough for those who like to pull off insane stupid tricks and combos... very good gameplay, and offers great multiplayer thrills... pity no live
Graphics: it looks nice visually... but only nice, it is never really impressive, or amazing... doesnt use the xboxs graphical power to its abiltities... but still manages to look good.
Sound: sound is nothing amazing, but environments and commentry all sound good... not exactly music to your ears, but still is good.
Suggestions: live support... deeper single player better graphical effects and features

Overall: Im not a huge sports game fan, but this is defenetly the the best one i have ever played. The whole oldschool basketball thing was just really fun and the variety of ways you can do tricks and dunks was impressive.
Gameplay: For those who critize sports games becaause they only have 3 buttons you ever use, this defently the exeption. sure u can just dunk and shoot, but if you want to do the really cool stuff like "of the hezzay" and trick moves and dunks you really got to know some combos. But why the hell can i never win a jump ball?
Graphics: most would say this game has poor graphics and looks cartoonish. THATS THE POINT its supposed to be an unrealistic oldschool looking game, and i think it just ads the the saweetness factor.
Sound: it really depends on the kinda music u like, but the anoucher is great, really funny! o why is there no custom tracks?
Suggestions: First and most importantly the next must be LIVE compatable or there will be no reason to buy it. and finally allow me to play my own music.

Overall: I could careless about the NBA let alone a basketball game, but after playing the demo of NBA Street vol.2 on the OXM disc I was hooked. In fact, my brother bought it after playing the demo and now I'm borrowing it. This game is just flat out unadulterated fun. The fast pace and crazy moves are mesmerizing and keep me hanging on for more.
Gameplay: The basic gameplay breaks down into a 3 on 3 matche in a few different modes. NBA challenge lets you pick an NBA team from which you choose three of the star players and take on the stars from other NBA Teams. Upon completing the several circuits you unlock courts, old time stars, and throw back jerseys to use on your created player. Another nice feature is you can get help from friends to play in the NBA Challenge mode. The other major mode is "Be a Legend" where you make your own player then create a street team and start making a reputation for yourself on the street circuits. You also have the regular exhibition modes. As with most EA Sports titles it keeps track of your profile which includes a good number of stats to show your accomplishments or lack of depending on your skills. Although I've read that the PS2 controller is better suited for the game the controller S works very well with it. It can take some time getting used to using the left stick as a button for the third turbo button but it works fine.
Graphics: The graphics are extremely well done keeping the eyes happy through the entire experience. The animation is smooth and the colors are vibrant adding to the whole crazy cartoonish atmosphere of the game.
Sound: I don't care for this kinda of music but surprisingly I find myself getting into some of the songs. I would've preferred support for user soundtracks but oh well what can you expect from a company that makes game for Sony then converts them for Microsoft and Nintendo machines. The commentator is actually quite entertaining at times and the 5.1 Dobly is put to good use.
Suggestions: Xbox exclusive content like user soundtracks.

Overall: Brother man get your fro pick out and stand that mutha up! Get your Chuck Taylor's laced up, and your long socks on cause it's time to hoop it up on the pavement! This game is hillarious and is just plain fun to play. If you dig old school hoops and clownin' around this is your game. Makes you feel like your silly non athletic self could have been a globe trotter! Check it out!
Gameplay: The controllers are complicated at first for the great moves but like all games they have a learning curve and can be mastered in a short while. Once you have them dialed in the fun really begins and you play the game vs thinking about button sequences. This game is fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. You feel like you are throwin' it down yourself when you take it strong to the rack!
Graphics: Not the greatest graphics especially for the Xbox but acceptable. The gameplay is so much more fun than the lack of graphics that you really don't mind. You can see what you need to clearly - the hoop or your team mate 20 feet up waitin for an alley oop!!!
Sound: Pretty good. The music is just great and the old school sound they give you makes it a ton of fun. The announcer get a little annoying after a while and should be substituted by the players talking smack at times to break up his commentary.
Suggestions: Improve the graphics some, forget holding 3 or 4 buttons at once as it's too demanding, add some smack talk between players, more old school funk tunes, and thin out the air time the announcer gets or get a new guy to do the play by play, this guys is trying too hard to be funny to actually be funny. Great game!

Overall: This Game rocks. The graphics have been improved from NBA street(PS2). Plus the new four player option lets your other friends play too. Even if you dont like basketball games, your like this.
Gameplay: NBA street Vol. 2 has many new features/Moves. One of the best feature in NBA street vol. 2 is Be a legend. Its where you create a player with few skill points, and each time you win, you can buy more skill points for your created player. You first play no name ballers then you start playing better and more popular players. Plus you get more popular each time you win a game. The whole point it is trying to be a legend. There's also a lot more new moves. The only downer is that theres only 3 turbo buttons, down from 4 turbo buttons from the original, so less combos. The new four player option lets more friends join in. The only thing bad about it is you cant change people when your playing 3-4 players.

Graphics: The graphics are medium. They are not too bad but arent too good. There a little better then the original. The bad points is the bump mapping kinda stinks. The courts are pretty good and the audience is pretty good.
Sound: The sound is pretty good. The music is cool but can get on your nerves sometimes. Theres ten songs for the game and ten songs for the menu area. The only bad thing is you can use your own custom soundtracks. Also, the commentator says a lot of funny stuff, so its even fun just listening to him.
Suggestions: This game is a MUST GET! The replay value is really high and its a good game. You wont get bored of it and its not a bad product. Overall, I liked this game and its up top with my favorites like Halo and Starcraft.

Gameplay: Gameplay is great I love the controls and it's just basically the best overall for any game...I love it!
Graphics: The graphics! OMG don't get me started! The characters look great and realistic, same with the nice basketball courts!
Sound: The sounds of the game put me into the action of the street game. I love the chatter and not to mention not bad of a choice on the menu's music.

Graphics: Very nice but i think their eyes shine a little bit which i think is cool with me because the rest was all good. Everything else was great i really liked the street ballers :)
Sound: O my lord,,,, Just blaze, react, all those mad songs i love all on one game! What more can i ask for

Overall: This is the second instalment of the street series. Has a new street mode and much more unlockables.
Gameplay: Street 2 follows up the first game with some new tricks and a much better create a player mode. You can unlock old school players like Dr. J and three dirffent versions of MJ.
Graphics: I dont know why some people say its cell shaded but its far from that. However it is a ps2 port. I give it a 3
Sound: Decent sounds. Nothing to spectacualr. Could of used a custom soundtrack option but not all games can be perfect.

Overall: This is a great arcade basketball game. There are tons of cool moves to fake out your opponents. Theres also a couple of different game modes to play. Overall its a really fun game.
Gameplay: You can play through the createaplayer, nba challenge, or just pick up games. There are lots of different tricks and dunks. There is also a lot of stuff to unlock like legends, new jerseys, moves, and courts. Even after unlocking everything its still a fun game to play.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty good. I havent noticed any major flaws. The courts look nice and the players are pretty detailed too.
Sound: This is the only part that annoys me about this game. The announcer says some weird stuff, fortunately you can turn him off. Also they should have included a custom soundtrack option.
Suggestions: I would get a new announcer and add a custom soundtrack. New dunks and more old players would also be cool.

Overall: I thought a game could never get as good as NBA Street, but I was wrong. This game has it all, it's addictive, it has excitement, and most importantly, I'm still playing it after 2 weeks! This game will give you a new view of Street basketball, and it will also make you gain interest in the real sport. It's very creative, including many innovative moves, like "Back to papa" where the player bounces the ball of the backboard, and then back to himself. The addition of Trick Points just adds on to the fun, and the multiple Rewards make you want to play for hours upon hours. It will take you many, many hours just to unlock a few Rewards. Nu' Said.
Gameplay: Can it get any better then this? This game has sick moves and mad skills. The intro of the game says it all. You can do the craziest moves you have ever seen. The addition of the Be a legend mode is one of the best parts of the game. You start out as a player with horrible skills and play your way up to fame. For me, this part of the game was to easy, even on Legendary mode. Also, Street school is where you learn the basics of the game, and they are very easy to learn. The learning curve is maybe only about 10 minutes. The last mode in street is NBA challenge where you face 3 players from each NBA team, and also face division legends like Larry Bird, Dr. J, Wilt Chamberlain, etc. After defeating all these modes you get the biggest prize in the whole game, unlocking the 85' Michael Jordan. Personally, I still can't get over seeing Shaq dunk over Wilt.
Graphics: Great graphics, with many different camera angles. The players ACTUALLY look like the players in the NBA.
Sound: What? What? I Can't hear you, music's pumped up loud as it can go! Best Rap/ Hip Hop mix I ever heard.
Suggestions: None, these guys know there roots. This game has moves that I have seen performed in real life down at the courts. If this game can just gain a little more story to it, this could be the next Madden.

Overall: A decent game. But a multi-platformer so the graphics are average. the controls arent the greatest but they werent bad either.
Gameplay: No replay value. Gets repetitive way too fast. by the time you finish unlocking everything. you wish you were doing something else
Graphics: You could tell it looked like a port. Due to the cel-shding which was good. If you are going to do cel-shading you have to do good. They only did ok.

Overall: A very fun edge of your seat game, very fast and nice gameplay.Excellent use of retro players also.the succeeds at what it has intended to do,BE FUN.
Gameplay: A fast paced basketball game that makes me what to play more,to unlock all the courts and players.there are a ton of moves and dunks to be had.Everything is over exaggerated on purpose and welcome because of type of game it is.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty good, again what we have here are PS2 graphics with sharper images and bright colors.Because of the cartoony nature of the game you can overlook the PS2ness of them.but i can't help but think what it could of been if EA wasn't sony's bitch.I was impressed with the animation's of the player's and background's and they match the fun factor of the game.
Sound: The sound is good.I'm a Metal Head so the hip hop crap gets real annoying after a while, but no other music would ever be a better fit based on the game is about streetball.the commentary is not bad ether seems to go along with the action not real repetitive, and sometime humorous i think it's John Leguizamo but i don't see his name in the credit's.No real use of 5.1 here.
Suggestions: Too EA,strap on some d*ck's and be men and make a ONLY ON XBOX game.Nuff said!

Gameplay: Do crazy dunks, tricks, and alley-oops. Be old people or NBA stars of today. Create your own player and become a legend. There is a lot of stuff to do.
Graphics: Visuals were good. The people look really real and the dunks and stuff were really smooth. No problems at all.

Overall: This game is wicked cool. From the slammin' dunks to the off the Hezay, it's all fun. This game is worth buying and trust me on that.
Gameplay: The game has a lot of special dunks and trick moves. All the moves in the game give you points, these points when fill up the meter bar gives you a gamebreak. Now the gamebreakr is probably the craziest part in the game and even better you can poket it and get another on. Now gamebreaker 2 is amazing, i loved it.
Graphics: The visual graphics in this game are really good. You see no bloaky characters and the motion capture for the dunks are smooth and nice looking as well.

Overall: The first time I popped the disc into my XBox and watched the intro, I was really amazed. After watching all the and one videos so many times, and playing basketball myself, I found some of the tricks to be really sweet. Some of them old but some of them I had never seen before. This was my first street ball game anyway. After finishing NBA challenge, and half way finishing Be a Player mode, I'm sorta getting tired of it. For the amount of time I spent on the game, it was worth buying it though.
Gameplay: It's a very simple game. The learning curve is about 30 minutes. After thirty minutes, you're a pro at the game. the controls are very easy to learn. The three trubo combinations for tricks, and dunks is very cool. However, I wish each player had the ability to do different dunks. There are three different modes... NBA Challenge, Street School and Be a Legend. By finishing games in both NBA Challenge, and Be a Legend, you get points that go toward buyign awards. In NBA challenge, you take the role of your favourite nba team, and battle teams from every conference in 3 on 3 play. In Be a Legend, you create a player and battle to the highest ranks of the nation.
Graphics: Some courts are very nice and others are very dull. I liked the player models. Overall, the graphics weren't anything to brag about.
Sound: I totally wished they would have allowed the option for customizable music. It sorta gets annoying hearing nelly when you hate nelly. I liked the gamebreaker music though.

Graphics: Looks alright for another PS2 port. Shoulda been made for the Xbox and down-sized for the Cube and PS2.

Overall: Great street ball game where you can pull off tons of amazing street moves and you can do different modes... Be a legend, and NBA mode. TONS of unlockables. overall I think this is a great game.
Gameplay: Like I said you can create a player and go to be a legend mode where you work your reputation up while playing against other street teams.you get points that you can use to buy points or shoes or jerseys, and you can also buy more moves with these points. then theres NBA mode where you get an NBA team and take on other NBA
teams from each different region. you also get those points here. you can unlock different legends as you can street ballers in be a legend mode. this game is very fun.
Graphics: the visuals are pretty good but not superb... I think the courts and that the players look pretty good.

Overall: This game is trhe shiznit. It has the coolest NBA and Street Ball moves I have ever seen. Also the legendary players bring another aspect to gameplay. Also the oops and dunks are tight. They went sick with all of the game modes and the ballers are sick.
Gameplay: The game was pretty easy to get used to the controls. The school was also helpful in order to figure out what the gameplay had to offer. The new gamebreaker two is also cool they bring a satisfaction to the game. The replay value isn't to great, But it keeps you busy. The new moves like back to papa and off the hezay are also fat.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty amazing. Some of the moves are impossible to pull off, But the graphics make it lok real. You can sit there and be amazed by the gamebreaker twos.
Sound: The sound is pretty realistic. They needed a better soundtrack though, The nelly got repetive and benzino sucks as it is. The could have got better pump up music.

Gameplay: You can do tricks, alle-oop's, crazy dunks, bounce the ball of peoples heads the lists endless aswell as that youve got the fantastic passes and combo moves the gameplay is brillant and watching it from a spectators point of view looks sweet too!
Graphics: Graphics are pure quality, the streets? they look like streets.. the players look very realistic in weight/height/looks and espcially Michael Jordan :o, Its almost as If its him in the game.
Sound: Sound of the urban streets :p well you get your moneys worth with the traditional music for each location e.g. Rap/Hip-hop etc. As well as the sounds of the ball bouncing, slam dunks and the ball hitting the backboard there all good.

Overall: Bottom line this game is addictive and fun. It follows an NBA JAM style of play, so it isn't a basketball sim. In this case, this is a good thing. 3 on 3 Basketball, unen !&%$@#* bred by gravity, out of bounds lines, and rules. It can be good time if you let it.
Gameplay: The controls can get complicated. The more advanced moves you want to perform, the more buttons and triggers involved. It is important to learn the advanced moves, becuase it is how you earn style points, and game-breakers. In other words, its not enough to beat your opponent, but you have to look good doing it too.
Graphics: This is port, and in this case the graphics are good. Not great. The Michael Jordan character is stunningly realistic looking. The Magic Johnson character looks poor.

The street ball players all seem unique, which is kind of cool.
Sound: Interesting. A good mix of old-school and contemporary music. The announcer didn't annoy me like most sports game announcers do. I guess I would say that the sound is surprisingly well done.

Overall: This is by far the best and most fun basketball game on the market. You will be addicted for weeks. Any one would enjoy this game even if you arnt a big fan of the sports genre. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Gameplay: The gameplay is some of the best gameplay ever for a sports game. The controls are easy to pick up(about 10 mins). Theirs so many different moves you can do. The different game modes are really fun excpetly the "Be a Legend" one were you work your way up from an amateur street baller to a legend of the streets. SOOOOO many unlockables that will keep you busy. The legends are super sweet.
Graphics: The courts are fantstic. Each one has its own iduvidual feel. The players are modeled perfectly. The faces could use a little more detail though. The gamebreakers are so awsome to watch. Definatly not ported pspoo graphics.
Sound: The commentating is so hilarious and it isnt very repetaive. The rap isnt my favorite but it fits perfect with the game and gives it that true street baller feel.

Gameplay: the controls were pretty good. i like how i can do tons of different tricks and dunks. i have NBA 2K3 so i was not used to these controls but i got used to it quick. i especially like the dive and gamebreaker.
Graphics: the graphics were awesome. the players looked just like they do in real life. the graphics on the courts were wawesome and i liked how their were fans watching and cheering at the games. They do need to make a weather mode where you can pick the weather you want.
Sound: i really liked the music they had. after a week of playing the game i knew the graphics of almost all of the games. The announcer was pretty good too.
Suggestions: where you can pick the weather. also more players on the legends.

Overall: Crazy moves, incredible dunks and style up the wazoo... Street basketball with a attitude. Giant afros and midgets with skills. Arcade basketball doesn't get any better than this.
Gameplay: Fluid controls, to a point. I did have a big peeve with the game. When jumping back to defense from a unsucessful shot on occasion regardless to how many times you press the change player button the person you'd like to switch to, it doesn't. Really annoying when trying to guarding the rim and you can't choose your big man. I think it switches to the nearest person with the ball. Not very good idea.
Graphics: Good visuals, it seems cell shaded but isn't. Overall the graphics are great. I didn't have a problem one bit. Sometimes your player going into a allyoop goes through the rim when dunking. Really lame during replays.

Sound: Well... Um... The tracks are okay. I could only listen to them once. Then just turned them off completely. The anouncer is annoying too. But, nothing the options can't take care of.
Suggestions: Fix the change player function. I want custom tracks.

Overall: Dramatic face life from its predecessor. New players, rewards, and best of all, trick moves. I played the first NBA Street and I loved it. Now, EA Sports has re-defined street basketball with NBA Street Vol. 2 which is, by far, the best street basketball game on the market.
Gameplay: The gameplay, like NBA Street, is very smooth. Street Vol. 2 allows palyers to preform various trick moves and combinations, without burning out your fingers. And if you still think it's a difficult game to play, EA gives you infinate oppertunities to pracitce your moves with "Street School". The Kick Pass?, whooo boy, that's flamboyance in its greatest form.
Graphics: The graphics in this game are amazing. The only place I believe needs improvment is the players' face details. Jordan looks like Mcgrady in the replays.
Sound: Awesome tunes in this game. DJ Bobbito Garcia: simply the best choice for commentary. This guy knows street basketball inside out. Much love to EA for providing gamers with great music and commentary to it's games.
Suggestions: I know you guys are not impressed with how Microsoft regulates XBox Live, but this game would have been magical if it was Live enabled.

Overall: This was a Basketball game in the vain of the old NBA Jams. They have made all the necessary changes to make this game even better than its first incarnate. I have played all the NBA games this year for XB and let me say this is the only one I would buy even though it does not have NE online play. And dear god if it did the other ppl would really be in trouble.

One of the funnest times I have had with a sports game period! I loved the old NBA Jams and this was par with the fun I had with those titles on N64. Every thing about this game is useable and was put in with the player in mind. From the Killer moves to the customizable players, moves, and more, it all added up to longevity. When I was through with the first game and earned my first 50pts I could not wait to see what all I could unlock, when I got to the page I was amazed to see all the extras they had there to work towards.

Gameplay: There is a verity of things to do in this game. Your can play; pick up game, training, becoming a legend, and others. After finishing my training I played a lot of pick up games and that’s where the fun was, with two ppl this quickly became a competitive game. After my friend (Coolerf150 from here) went home I moved on the NBA area of play. That was also fun, at first I was being schooled but soon after watching the AI ppl play I found that I was getting better too. At this point I would like to add that on ever level (there are three) the AI is set to just the right balance for a competitive play and all out fun.
Graphics: This game looks great. I had my doubts with the new look. But after a few minutes of play I was assured that EA Big had went the right direction with this one. I loved how closely they got the players shot still and overall look. Notable of those that I seen was Jordan’s Fade away, Shaq’s Free Through, and V. Carter’s Arm in the bucket (Called Honey Dip) Dunk. Also the “on fire” look to things (that I rarely got) looked smooth in the new setting of this game. It also does not hurt that I own a 45” Sony HD TV and this game supports that.
Sound: Another outstanding job here for EA, I loved the way when the game changed tracks it showed it on the bottom of the screen. The announcing is not annoying its fun like the game. There are all the accoutrements here to make this another area of the game that one can marvel at. Also it did not hurt that I have a killer sound system and the XB owns in this area.
Suggestions: Keep on keeping on. You are so on the right track with this title now all that needs to happen is for it to support custom sound tracks and XBL.
